Gunner POV
Cora was in a good mood when we reached the bedroom, and again she left a trail of clothes all the way to the bed, giggling and swaying to music only she could hear. I leaned on the door and watched her moving around, enjoying the view. It felt good inside, seeing her so content and happy, it was like what happened earlier with Scrubs didn’t happen.
Cora stopped at the bed and looked over her shoulder at me, as if asking a question. I collected her clothes as I walked towards her, leaving them on the floor near the bed in a pile; mine soon joined them Cora had moved onto the bed and was sitting there watching me. As I collected the clothes and divested myself of mine, the lust in her eyes grew as she watched me, licking her lips and giggling at me.
Did Cora drink too much grappa at the restaurant?
She was flushed and giggling, guess a little tipsy, but fun.
“You sure you are up for this?” I asked, giving her the chance to back out, but I don’t think she will, not in her state.
“Come here and join me on this merry-go-round, wheeeeee.” Cora giggled; she’s tipsy and going to have a headache in the morning.
The moment I climbed onto the bed, Cora was onto me, kissing me, sloppy, uncoordinated, missing my mouth, and I doubt there was much left in her; I feel if I made love to her now, it would be all one-sided
Do I want to make love with Cora in this condition?
I let Cora do as she wanted, roaming my body with sloppy kisses, and licked my shaft a few times. I was getting hard, and my resolve of not taking her in this condition was waning; I was seriously thinking about how to go about it with her in this condition. She wouldn’t enjoy it half as much as I would.
That was before she suddenly felt heavy on my groin. I pushed her gently so I could sit up and found my Cora fast asleep, my shaft deflated in an instant. Chuckling, I pulled Cora up the bed and rolled her anto her side, climbed out of bed, hunted for some painkillers and a glass of water, and placed them on the bedside table, nearest to her, and climbed back into bed, spooning her.
Other than a small glitch, the day had been a good one. I lay there, holding Cora, thinking about today and with a smile on my face, a warm body in my arms, I allowed sleep to take me
“My head, who let the drummer in my head, and why am I on a rollercoaster?” Cora groaned out, still half asleep.
“You tried one too many grappa last night, it’s home-brewed and very strong You’re not someone who drinks, but you managed to consume a nice amount.” I sat up, leaned over and grabbed the bottle of painkillers and the glass of water.
“Here, take this.” Cora sat up, holding her head, and took the bottle, but couldn’t open it
“Take the water, I will open the bottle” i shook two out, and Cora snatched them and popped them in her mouth, draining the whole glass of water

“Don’t let me drink so much next time, Cora grumbled, climbed out of bed, and stumbled to the bathroom. Tchuckled as I popped the lid back on and entered the bathroom.
Cora was under the warm water, her face up facing the cascade of water, her eyes closed, hands on the shower wall, supporting her.
At least she didn’t puke.
I joined her in the shower, holding her from behind. My shaft twitched, but I pushed that thought away, Cora was in no condition to have that. We stayed together under the water; eventually, Cora lowered her head and sighed.
“Thanks, I needed this. Now I need FOOD.” Food? When I have a hangover, I don’t want to eat, Cora was different, or the hangover was not that bad, must have a cast-iron stomach.
“Good morning, Cora, Gunner.” Sonya greeted us as we entered the kitchen, where smells of food had my mouth watering, and Cora was checking what was cooking.
“Having a girls’ day out with Ruby once they come down, but we shall be horne for dinner. Can I have roast lamb, please?”
“As you wish.” Placing bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, yoghurt, fruits, and so much variety on the serving table, that you would think this was a smorgasbord at a five-star restaurant. Cora and I picked up a plate and started to fill it before taking a seat at the breakfast bar.
“Today I need to go to my bike shop; I’ve been away too long, and it’s wages time again. Time is flying past so quickly; it didn’t feel that long again. I did the wages.”I complained as I ate.
“Do you need a hand? I can change my plans.” Cora looked at me, and I wasn’t sure if that look would be one of hope that I would say yes or no.
“No need, I can sort it out quickly enough; my assistant manager does a great job. Keeping easy-to-follow reports, I have been lucky in that way; no huge issues at all with the men getting along, a good group of guys, not just club members, either. They get along well together, and that makes work easier and results better, fewer complaints from customers.”
Just as I had said this, Demetri and Ruby entered the kitchen, both looking refreshed and smiling.
After greetings, we talked about our plans today. Demetri would work in his office, and the girls were going into town, a bonding day, Demetri called it; the more they get along, the better for us.
“Take the bodyguards.”
“But we will be in the spa, and places men shouldn’t be watching us.” Ruby started to argue, and I smiled. / noticed so did Cora; she had this same argument with me once before.
“My men know how to be discreet, and once done, a quick check will wait outside.”Demetri put up his hand to stop the argument, we all knew what Ruby was going to say.
“If you are in there all day, they will wait, watch the area, and keep you safe. Don’t fight me on the You won’t win, I have to know someone has your back when you are not with me. Please Demetti saying ‘please – that’s a change
“Okay, okay, don’t get those tighty-whities in a knot

Chapter 145
“Hey, I don’t wear whities.” Demetri put his hand on his groin and looked like the suggestion hurt him.
Suck it up; we all have off days.” Cora chuckled at Demetri’s look; he felt affronted and pouted-yep, Demetri pouted.
The girls left in Demetri’s SUV, which his men had brought over, men followed behind on their bikes, and two in the SUV, one doing the driving. Demetri insisted that they had defensive skills, if needed, or could follow. We both stood and watched the vehicle disappear.
“Catch you at dinner; call me if you need me before then, I will be at my shop.” I left Demetri and climbed on my bike. He looked like he had wanted to go with the girls. Ruby had him whipped, and I understood completely, because I wanted the same, and I guess that means I am whipped too.
“Hey boss man, didn’t think you knew where this place was anymore.” One of the guys joked when I walked in and took a quick look around the workshop. All was going as expected, if not better, they didn’t miss me at all. Not that I had expected them to.
I completed the wages before one of the men came in, coffee in hand. He wasn’t a patch member, but he was a damn good worker.
“Wages are done, and the suppliers’ payments have been released. Do you need anything else?” I asked. He gave me a mug of coffee and took a seat.
“Want to sell up? You are rarely here anymore.” I wondered what he had in mind.
“Talk, what’s brought this on? Surely, it’s not because I am not here every day?” I watched him closely, he had been with me for four years and had never been in trouble before.
“My brother, who is also a mechanic, had come back home; we are looking at buying or starting up our own business. If we can buy this one, it would save us a lot of trouble starting up a new one, we can continue as you have here, servicing the club members at a discounted rate. I thought I would lay my cards on the table before quitting to start a new one.” I respected that he came to me, and not just quit, and started a business.
