As soon as Noelle finished speaking, there was a sudden stir around the villa.

The next second, the front door was pushed open.

A group of well–trained bodyguards rushed in, closing in around Joshua.

Joshua frowned, keenly catching the sound of footsteps behind him that didn’t belong.

The sharp tap of leather shoes echoed rhythmically across the tile.

Joshua turned around.

A man in an eye–catching red suit was making his way in, walking down the single–file path the bodyguards had left for him.

His bright blue eyes glinted with a touch of mischief.

He stopped in front of Joshua, a cocky smirk playing on his lips.

‘Mr. Garcia, I’ve heard a lot about you,” the man said.

Joshua watched the man warily.

His mind raced, replaying everything he’d picked up recently, trying to figure out who this guy was.

He was a foreigner, and an enemy.

Was this Richard, the guy everyone thought was dead?‘ Joshua wondered.

But what was strange was, even though the guy had his people close in around him, Joshua couldn’t sense any real malice from him.

“Who are you?” Joshua asked.

His face was cold, giving nothing away.

The man grinned. “Let me introduce myself. I’m Jay Zane, a businessman from Manedom. I grew up there, but my family’s originally from Jupiton.”

‘Do we know each other?” Joshua asked.

“Nope,” Jay replied.

Jay didn’t bat an eye, acting like making such a big scene over a total stranger was just business as usual–never even crossed his mind that it might be rude.

He casually pulled out his phone and held the screen out to Joshua.

“Take a look at this. What do you think your wife would do if she saw it?” Jay grinned.

In the photo, Noelle was crouched in front of Joshua, holding his hand.

The bodyguards swarmed him.

He had no clue if he could actually fight or not–right now, he was just running on pure instinct, dodging attacks without a econd thought.

But his injuries had barely healed, and even using a bit of strength felt exhausting.

He barely heard Xylia call his name, “Joshua,” before a bodyguard smacked the phone out of his hand.

The phone hit the floor with a loud crack, the screen shattering instantly.

The call was cut off in an instant.

Joshua was furious. Without hesitation, he aimed straight at the bodyguard who’d knocked his phone down and landed a heavy punch.

Jay stepped back, taking in the mess with a smirk as the chaos erupted in front of him.

Noelle clenched her fists, her gaze fixed on Joshua, watching his every move as he struggled in the middle of the brawl.

‘Sorry, Josie, I’ve got something I need to deal with Lunch is on me. Once I sort this out, I’ll take you out and show you around Jupiton, Xylia said.

Josie saw the worry written all over Xylia’s face and frowned, clearly concerned.

“What’s wrong?” Josie asked.

“I think something’s happened to Joshua,” Xylia said, her voice shaky.
