Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 131

After informing Chloe Hudson, Raelynn decided to head straight to the school on Monday.

When Raelynn pulled up to pick Chloe up, she spotted Lily standing by the curb next to her.

The sweet girl was wearing a cute plush backpack and a matching StellaLou bunny-ear hat. Every passerby couldn't help but turn their heads and coo about how adorable she looked.

Chloe stood next to her, looking incredibly smug. Whenever someone offered a compliment, she would tilt her chin up, feigning calm as she nodded and said, "Thank you."

Raelynn hit the brakes and sighed playfully. "Why bring Lily out in this freezing cold?"

Had Chloe forgotten they were going to fight for the girl's admission rights today?

Chloe buckled Lily into the car. "What's the big deal? I'm definitely getting that spot back. It's good for Lily to familiarize herself with the campus beforehand."

Lily nodded vigorously. "Mommy, I can help you reason with them too!"

Raelynn was speechless.

Fine. Her daughter was too cute to argue with.

They arrived at The Elite Kindergarten.

Chloe let out a low whistle. "Look at the size of this place. No wonder it's filled with the kids of the elite. Our darling deserves the best resources."

Raelynn, however, felt a weight settling in her chest. She wasn't entirely confident, not knowing who they were up against.

"Chlo, I want to go play in the playground area," Lily said, her eyes sparkling as she pointed into the distance. She knew Chloe spoiled her the most.

Chloe beamed. "Sure, go ahead."

Lily's little face flushed with excitement as she got ready to run off. Then, she suddenly dashed back, tugged at Raelynn to bend down, and planted a loud kiss on her cheek. Being perfectly fair, she gave Chloe a kiss too before happily jogging off to play.

Chloe's heart swelled with joy.

She felt like she had all the energy in the world to go chew out the school administration now.

"Which one of you is the principal?" Chloe demanded.

Raelynn grabbed her hand, silently urging her to stay calm.

A middle-aged man who had been smiling obsequiously next to Sebastian immediately turned toward them. "And you are?"

It wasn't just the principal. Raelynn could feel Sebastian's indifferent gaze sweeping over her. It was cold, detached, and completely devoid of emotion. No one looking at them would ever guess they had been married for seven years.

"We're here to ask about the admission spot. The school confirmed we had the very last one, and suddenly it's gone. That doesn't seem right, does it?" Raelynn kept her tone even, not wanting to make a scene.

The principal instinctively glanced at Sebastian, who was still on his call nearby.

He quickly realized both parties had clashed right in front of him. He could only offer a weak excuse. "It was a clerical error by our staff. That spot was filled a long time ago."

Just then, Seraphina walked over. She looked at Raelynn with blatant disregard.

The principal immediately gestured toward Seraphina and introduced her to Raelynn. "This married couple secured the last spot for their child. Why don't you discuss it with them?"
