Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 164

It happened entirely too fast.

By the time Raelynn looked back, Brenda and Seraphina were already tearing at each other.

One was a pampered society wife, the other a delicate heiress who had never worked a day in her life. Neither knew how to throw a real punch, so they resorted to vicious shoving.

Seraphina was initially intimidated by her former future mother-in-law. But remembering exactly who had her back now, she bit her lip and cast a defensive glance around. Assured that no one was watching besides Raelynn, she snapped, "This is a corporate office! Show some dignity!"

"Dignity? Is dignity stripping yourself bare and throwing yourself into Sebastian's bed, you little tramp? Engaging you to my Cameron was already doing you a massive favor! He goes to prison, and instead of staying loyal and waiting for him, you climb into his married older brother's bed! Have you no shame?!"

Brenda was surprisingly strong, shrieking in pure fury.

"What is this nonsense online about you getting cozy with Sebastian during this documentary shoot? Are you trying to force him to marry you?!"

Brenda was completely out of her mind with rage.

She had been hosting a Mahjong game at her house today when a fellow wealthy socialite showed her a leaked video. It was the clip of Seraphina on her tiptoes, trying to kiss Sebastian during the documentary shoot. The woman had asked, "Is this Sebastian's secret wife? They seem so in love."

When Brenda saw it was Seraphina, she practically turned green!

Green on behalf of her betrayed son!

She knew Seraphina hung around Sebastian constantly, but seeing the girl actively trying to kiss him was the final straw.

What a disgrace to the family!

"I don't know what you're talking about." Seraphina could tell Brenda was entirely unstable. "I think we need to calm down and talk this out like adults. Raelynn, go get Sebastian."

She looked over at the only bystander.

She couldn't afford a massive scandal breaking out at Longstride!

Raelynn pointed at herself.

How was she getting dragged into this?

Brenda whipped her head around, glaring fiercely at Raelynn. "Are you stupid? This bitch is practically dancing on your grave, and you're just going to let her steal your husband? Get over here and help me hold her down!"

So Seraphina and her father had known all along. They knew exactly what The Ortiz Antique Shop meant to her when the Vance family had used shady legal maneuvers to steal it...

She walked over.

"Aunt Brenda, this is Longstride Technologies. Sebastian is still upstairs. If he finds out you came here and acted out impulsively today, you know better than anyone what his temper is like."

Raelynn warned her simply.

Brenda's face stiffened for a fraction of a second. She was genuinely terrified of her nephew by marriage. Ever since Sebastian had barely survived a kidnapping and fought his way back home, seizing control of the family, the Croix household had been bathed in blood and fear.

He was utterly ruthless and cold-blooded...

But the thought that Seraphina might actually marry him, permanently turning her son into a laughingstock, poured gasoline on her fury. She dragged Seraphina right to the edge of the stairwell. "She still needs to learn a lesson!"

Raelynn frowned at how precariously Seraphina was leaning over the steps. An accident was bound to happen.

She stepped in to block Brenda. "We're in a corporate building. You really need to calm down."
