As if anyone actually wanted to see her!
They weren't part of Seraphina's little fan club!
"Ms. Hudson, are you sure you're here to show courtesy and not just to cause trouble?" Leo chuckled, shooting Raelynn a rather odd look.
Julian studied Raelynn thoughtfully. Noting how composed she looked, his eyes narrowed slightly.
"Oh, if you think our visit isn't grand enough, I can hire a funeral marching band to play right outside the door. Would that work?" Chloe scoffed.
She absolutely despised these arrogant rich boys.
Birds of a feather!
Leo choked on his words.
That was unbelievably harsh.
Seraphina understood the implication perfectly, and her face darkened.
Who was she cursing to die?
Raelynn tugged on Chloe's arm, then shifted her gaze to Seraphina, who looked perfectly fine resting in bed. "Since you don't seem seriously injured, when are you going to advance the Kingsford team's progress?"
Seraphina's eyes turned icy.
She let out a sudden scoff and leaned back against her pillows. "Sorry, but I was maliciously attacked and injured. The project is just going to have to wait."
Raelynn wasn't even surprised by that answer.
She had acted entitled even when she was perfectly healthy.
Now that she had a minor injury, she was going to milk it for all it was worth.
In that case...
Kicking her off the project was completely justified.
"Fine. Then keep resting. Rest all you want." Now that she had her answer, Raelynn had no intention of sticking around.
Since she had already decided to boot Seraphina from the team, the woman could rot in that bed for all she cared.
"Raelynn, aren't you going to give me an explanation?"
Seraphina's voice suddenly rang out.
Raelynn was forced to stop in her tracks.
