Nobody had an answer to that.
Julian was too distracted by his own frustrations to care about the mysterious creator. "Geniuses like that usually don't care about the logistics. There are always a few weirdos who don't care about fame or money."
Seraphina realized he was right.
A titan like Faye, capable of single-handedly building such an overwhelmingly massive database filled with top-tier industry secrets, could probably write a revolutionary prescription in their sleep. Naturally, they wouldn't hyper-fixate on protecting every single one.
That incredible value was exactly why the licensing fee was so astronomical.
Feeling satisfied with her conclusion, she turned to look at Sebastian, who was quietly sipping his drink. She offered a soft smile. "Sebastian, my mother wants to take you out for dinner. You've been paving the way for me since this project began, making sure everything went flawlessly. She wants to thank you."
Thinking about the massive success the project would bring in the near future, Leo was in high spirits. He immediately raised his glass. "Meeting the parents? I love it."
Sebastian's expression remained indifferent, the slight curve of his lips impossible to read.
Seraphina covered her mouth, giggling shyly. "It's just a private, casual dinner."
Julian looked over and raised his glass as well. "Congratulations."

In the days following the incident at The Yves Garden Estate, Raelynn was so buried in work she barely had time to dwell on it.
Everything proceeded as usual.
Dr. Evelyn Hayes hadn't made a single move against her.
Raelynn had fully expected to hit a few brick walls in the industry, even if the matriarch wasn't actively out for blood.
But nothing happened.
If anything, Raelynn felt a pang of sympathy for Dr. Hayes. At the end of the day, all of this pain stemmed from how desperately the woman missed her granddaughter.
She had clung to the marriage arrangement with the Hudson family as a comforting delusion that the lost girl would eventually return.
And now, even that fragile hope was shattering.
But everyone had their own sides to protect. Raelynn could understand Ian's desperation just as much as she understood the Yves family's anger.
Raelynn stared at the unconscious man in the woman's arms.
Ignoring Preston's attempt to stop her, she walked straight over.
The woman, who had been screaming at the top of her lungs, instantly pointed a trembling finger at Raelynn. "You heartless monsters! You owe me my husband's life!"
Raelynn crouched down in front of her. "Your husband collapses, and instead of rushing him to a hospital, you drag him to a pharmaceutical company? Are you actually terrified he's going to die, or are you just terrified you won't get a payout?"
The woman's face twisted in vicious anger, and she shrieked even louder. "Are you cursing my husband to die?! How can you be so evil?! Is this how NexusMind treats ordinary people?!"
Raelynn still had a shred of patience left.
Ignoring the woman's unhinged tantrum, she reached out and placed her fingers firmly against the man's wrist to check his pulse.
Though this was a corporate office where most people assumed the staff were merely researchers or desk workers...
She had been studying medicine for well over a decade. Even doctors with fifteen years of clinical experience couldn't hold a candle to her expertise.
