"Do I look that unprofessional to you?" Raelynn grumbled, clearly annoyed.
Besides, the divorce was finalized.
Why would she hold a grudge?
Business was business; personal drama was personal drama.
Relieved, Dr. Moreno patted Raelynn on the head. "My junior is magnanimous. You're destined for great things."
Raelynn was speechless.
There was still an hour before the interviews kicked off.
Candidates were slowly trickling into the waiting room outside.
There were about a dozen of them in total.
Realizing she had left her water bottle behind, Raelynn stepped out to grab it.

Seraphina arrived at the check-in desk with plenty of time to spare.
Sebastian was with her.
He had his AirPods in, listening to an online meeting.
Leo Flynn stood nearby, not daring to interrupt him.
He had been ordered back to the university to "reeducate" himself, so he had just tagged along for the ride.
"What time does this wrap up? Did you book a table?" Leo asked.
Seraphina looked completely relaxed, smiling easily. "I did. My mom booked a massive private room. We're heading straight there for a celebration dinner right after this. You should come with us. I invited Julian, too."
Securing a spot under Dr. Moreno was practically a done deal.
She was convinced her interview would be flawless.
Leo nodded. "Julian's coming?"
"When I called him, he was running errands nearby. He mentioned Dr. Evelyn Hayes was discharged from the hospital, so since he's in the area, he'll swing by."
Hearing that put Seraphina in an excellent mood.
At the very least, Julian was still firmly in her corner.
Leo was about to reply when he caught sight of a tall, slender figure walking past.
