With that.
She shoved it into Raelynn's pocket. "Just consider it an early wedding favor."
A wedding favor...
For their wedding?
And.
The diamond ring.
She had already seen it on Cameron's phone.
So it was an engagement ring from Sebastian?
Was this trip just a vacation, or a secret elopement?
Raelynn's eyes remained completely impassive.
Seraphina didn't seem to care whether she accepted it or not. After shoving the box into her pocket, she turned back to socialize with the others.
Raelynn pulled the small box out of her pocket, didn't give it a second glance, and dropped it straight into the trash can.
"It's you!"
A bright, excited voice rang out from the doorway.
Raelynn turned to look.
Sierra stood there, her eyes sparkling as she spotted Raelynn and eagerly jogged over.
Seeing Sierra, Seraphina pulled another box from her bag and plastered on a smile. "Hello, I'm Seraphina Vance. This is a gift for—"
Sierra hadn't even noticed Seraphina. As she rushed toward Raelynn, she accidentally bumped into Seraphina's arm, sending the gift tumbling to the floor.
The small piece of jewelry inside spilled out.
Sierra finally stopped.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." She finally noticed Seraphina.
Seraphina frowned, glancing at the jewelry on the floor. "It's broken. That was quite expensive."
Sierra looked momentarily embarrassed. "How much was it? I can pay for it."
Seraphina had noticed that Sierra and Raelynn seemed to know each other, and Sierra was clearly enthusiastic about Raelynn.
Anyone who was friendly with Raelynn was immediately put on her bad side.
Seeing that Sierra was somewhat sheltered and easily intimidated, Raelynn stepped forward and looked at Seraphina. "Expensive or not, whose card did you use? Show me the receipt and the payment details, and I'll reimburse you."
A cold glint appeared in Seraphina's eyes.
