Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 509

Despite his calm tone, Raelynn felt the hidden sting.

She shot back at him. "We're divorced. It seems you no longer have the right to judge my life and my choices."

Raelynn didn't care what Sebastian thought. "My wedding will be in three months. Are you coming? I can prepare an extra invitation. Maybe you and Seraphina can even beat Ian and me down the aisle."

Sebastian said, "You're picking a date for me?"

Raelynn: "How you plan your big day is none of my business."

Sebastian stared at her for a few seconds, taking a step back, his eyes devoid of warmth. "Then your wedding has nothing to do with me."

With that said.

He turned and walked away.

His back was straight but indifferent.

He didn't bring up the issue of keeping or returning The Winslow Antique Shop.

Raelynn obviously understood what he meant.

"Nothing to do with me" meant she didn't need to send him an invitation.

Raelynn retracted her gaze, looking down at the wrinkled prenuptial agreement.

It was always like this between her and Sebastian.

They never had huge, screaming fights. Neither was ever hysterical, yet every word carried a hidden ache.

Sebastian probably didn't understand why she and Ian had suddenly decided to marry.

It was best if he didn't understand.

He wouldn't interfere with her affairs, nor would he affect her securing Lily's custody.

Raelynn shoved the prenuptial agreement into her bag.

Chloe Hudson's call came right then.

"The whole circle is buzzing right now. Everyone is talking about the Croix family, they're practically in the eye of the storm. This internal resolution of a love triangle isn't exactly glorious or pretty to hear."

With Raelynn crashing the party like that, the Croix family was now the butt of jokes.

"Lynnie, aren't you afraid the Croix family will fly into a rage out of humiliation and retaliate?"

Raelynn closed her eyes. "The fake divorce certificate crossed my bottom line. Tearing off the mask is the only way to protect my rights."
