Now, he's willing to cooperate with you, help you fight for custody, and burn his first marriage—all just to be a nice guy?"

Raelynn remained silent, her mind racing.

Alistair hummed knowingly. "The Hudson family isn't easy to enter, and it's even harder to leave. If you two decide to get married, stop overthinking it and just focus on living a good life together. Lily already accepts him as her dad anyway."

That left Raelynn without a counterargument.

Alistair understood Ian well enough.
