Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 562

Another woman tormented by marriage and love.

Only to meet such a devastating end.

A profound sense of sorrow and pity washed over her.

And to think Julian's father was such a heartless, cheating man.

Having learned the dark secrets of the Yves family.

She suddenly recalled what Chloe had mentioned earlier—this was the exact reason Dr. Hayes had cut ties with Quentin for years, steadfastly refusing to acknowledge him as her son.

Clearly, the Yves family was a mess behind closed doors.

Raelynn couldn't help but frown deeply. "Those who betray genuine love never meet a good end."

She was utterly disgusted by the base, animalistic nature so many men seemed to possess.

Completely incapable of simply staying faithful to their partners.

-

Monday morning.

Raelynn received the address from Evelyn.

It was The Courtyard Bistro.

Tucked away in a maze of old alleys, it was notoriously hard to find, but its exclusivity and stunning ambiance made it highly sought after.

She drove herself there.

After parking outside the courtyard, she immediately ran into Sebastian Croix casually strolling toward the entrance.

He was loosely gripping his suit jacket, and he turned his head slightly, his eyes locking onto hers.

Raelynn instinctively frowned. Sebastian had actually shown up.

A wave of cynical amusement washed over her. Sebastian was involving himself in a private family meeting about an engagement, dead set on helping Seraphina break it off, terrified that any complications might threaten their precious romance.

Raelynn had no desire to engage with him.

She quickened her pace toward the steps.

But as she passed him, he lowered his gaze and murmured, "Have you thought about it?"

Raelynn was forced to look back.

He eyed her coldly. "What if Ian values Seraphina's status as the Yves heiress more? What if the Hudson family cares more about maximizing their profits through a deep alliance with the Yves? If that happens, how exactly do you plan to handle yourself today?"

Sebastian's voice sounded exceptionally heartless.

Arriving at the reserved private dining room.

Raelynn and Sebastian stood together and knocked on the door.

They walked in simultaneously.

The room was already filled with quite a few people.

Raelynn immediately spotted familiar faces—Blanche and Seraphina.

On the other side, Evelyn sat at the head of the table. To her right was a middle-aged man with rimless glasses. He lacked the typical softness of middle age; instead, he maintained an excellent physique that hinted at his youthful charm.

Beside him sat a wealthy woman. Her features weren't particularly striking, but she radiated the flawless maintenance that only endless money could buy. Her face was untouched by time, and her eyes looked gentle and approachable.

A few seats down sat Julian, staring at his phone and looking entirely checked out.

As Raelynn and Sebastian entered, the eyes of the room shifted toward them.

Blanche's expression flickered slightly when she saw Raelynn.

Seraphina frowned, immediately standing up and marching straight over. She 'accidentally' bumped her shoulder against Raelynn's, shoving her away from Sebastian's side.

Only then did she boldly loop her arm through Sebastian's. "Sebastian, you're here too?"
