Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 563

Seeing this, Evelyn's brow furrowed tightly.

She found Seraphina's behavior highly inappropriate.

Raelynn was forced to take a step back.

She knew perfectly well Seraphina had done it on purpose.

But she couldn't be bothered to argue over something so petty.

Without sparing the two another glance, she walked straight in and gave Evelyn a polite nod. "Chairwoman, I apologize for being late."

Evelyn waved it off. "You're not late at all. Have a seat."

Raelynn looked around the room.

She made eye contact with the unfamiliar wealthy woman.

The woman offered her a soft, gentle smile in greeting.

Raelynn paused, instantly realizing who the woman was.

She didn't act overly warm, simply returning a polite, measured nod.

Quentin Yves also glanced at Raelynn. For some reason, his gaze lingered on her face for a few seconds longer than necessary.

Raelynn didn't notice. She found a seat toward the outer edge, acting as the perfect 'outsider.' The massive round table could fit over twenty people, allowing the different 'factions' to naturally separate themselves.

She chose the safest, least conspicuous spot possible.

Exactly three seats away from Julian.

Meanwhile.

Sebastian slowly lowered his eyes to where Seraphina was clinging to his arm. "Take your seat first."

Seraphina immediately pointed toward where she and Blanche had been sitting. "Then come sit with me..."

"Today's focus is the engagement between the Yves and the Hudsons," Sebastian stated coldly.

The underlying message hit Seraphina instantly.

This was not the time or place for her and Sebastian to flaunt their high-profile romance.

Business came first.

Reluctantly, she let go of him.

Sebastian walked over to greet Evelyn.

He then offered a nod to Quentin and Sylvia Dalton beside her.

Evelyn's feelings toward Sebastian were complicated. She knew he was a rare prodigy in his generation, possessing skills and ruthlessness that rivaled, if not surpassed, the older elite. He carried himself with an unflappable, composed demeanor.

But unfortunately...

When it came to matters of the heart, he was entirely faithless!
