The Yves family's DNA sampling concluded.
Yet the estate was thrown into turmoil once again over Raelynn's disappearance.
When Blanche returned, she exchanged a knowing look with Seraphina.
Seraphina was completely at ease.
At the same time, she frowned.
Because.
Sebastian had zero intention of abandoning Raelynn.
This made her incredibly uncomfortable.
She wanted Sebastian to be utterly indifferent to Raelynn's life or death. Only then would she feel like she was truly the one and only special woman in his heart.

After hanging up.
Sebastian and Julian split up. He drove straight to the Seaport City West Gate Precinct.
The tires screeched against the pavement as he slammed on the brakes.
He got out and rushed into the lobby.
Pushing through the crowd.
In a busy corner of the station.
He spotted a tiny, fragile little girl sitting quietly, wearing a small bear backpack, trying her hardest not to cry. It was Lily.
In this unfamiliar world of adults, she looked so helpless and lost.
She could only anxiously fiddle with the smartwatch on her wrist.
Being so small, her feet couldn't even touch the ground from the chair. The rules of the adult world were too cruel for a child, so much so that when Sebastian saw her sitting all alone.
A suffocating wave of protective grief washed over him.
It felt as if fragments of glass were piercing his heart.
His chest heaved.
He walked over step by step.
He stopped in front of her, looking down at her slightly messy pigtails. Up close, he saw tears still clinging to her eyelashes. Her eyes were filled with panicked terror, yet she remained perfectly well-behaved.
She possessed a maturity far beyond her years.
Lily looked up.
She stared at Sebastian.
"She gave us her mom's name and number, but we couldn't get through. We looked up her records and found out that you and her..."
"Thank you."
Sebastian had heard enough.
He smoothly cut the officer off before he could finish his sentence.
He was obviously about to say words like "husband and wife" or "ex-husband."
Bringing up that kind of thing in front of Lily would shatter the poor kid's worldview.
After all, in her mind, her dad was Ian and her mom was Raelynn—they were a family. His sudden "intrusion" would be impossible for a child to process.
Things like this.
He wanted Raelynn to decide whether to tell Lily or not.
But right now, Raelynn was missing.
The police were already involved.
The officer probed, "The child's mother..."
"She's fine, we just got separated," Sebastian lied smoothly.
Given the circumstances, he had to keep things under wraps. First and foremost, he needed to confirm Raelynn's safety. Ian had warned that the kidnappers would kill her the second the cops were involved; he had to tread extremely carefully.

No, no, no! Sebastian needs to nip the Zella situation and win Raelynn back! Also, Leo, he is a wildcard for Sebastian's master plan... Sebastian- we know you know, what we know, win your family back!...
I thought now Sebastian and Raelynn will be together now that seraphina is not but you are not letting them to be. Two new female around Sebastian 😭...
I think Ian is sly. He is not what he seems. Sebastian loves Raelyn and they have a daughter together. Besides he has no family to even take care of him. I feel Raelyn should realise that Sebastian is only her true love and go back to him....
The croix family is evil...
