But Raelynn wasn't in the mood anymore. She said, "I want to see Lily first. She must be terrified. I need to comfort her."
Ian completely understood where she was coming from.
"Alright, I'll take you."
"Where is she?"
"Mr. Yves is watching her."
Raelynn was instantly taken aback. "Julian Yves? Why would he agree to babysit for me?"

Sebastian sat in the hospital for a while.
He smoked a cigarette before finally getting up to head to Julian's house.
Lily was still there.
He took a car over.
Before walking through the door, he looked down at the jacket in his hand, then at the bandages and brace on his shoulder. Ultimately, he draped the jacket over himself, completely hiding the evidence of his injuries.
He had promised Lily he would bring her mom back.
If the kid saw he was hurt.
It would only scare her.
A child's world was beautifully simple.
They just needed to smile and accept the happy ending.
With his jacket secured, he punched in the passcode and pushed the door open.
But as he stepped into the living room, Sebastian's brow twitched. He looked around the massive, minimalist Nordic-style room, which was now absolutely buried under a mountain of expensive, mostly unopened toys.
It was practically impossible to find a place to step.
Over by the sofa.
Julian had rolled up his sleeves and was sitting cross-legged on the rug in his dress pants. He was excitedly waving a highly sought-after, limited-edition doll in front of Lily. "What about this one? Do you like this one? There are other outfits too, want to open them and pick one?"
Lily just stared at him quietly. She wasn't throwing a tantrum, but she wasn't happy either.
She couldn't care less about anything until she saw her mom.
Still, she politely nodded. "Thank you, Mister."
Julian's heart melted, and he grabbed another box. "This is a puzzle! But it's really big, like a couple thousand pieces. Want me to help you put it together?"
He sat down, leaned his head against the sofa, and closed his eyes.
Julian honestly didn't understand Sebastian sometimes. He was always so guarded, especially given all the mess he went through growing up...
He decided not to bother him.
Instead, he happily struck up a conversation with Lily.
Handing her a puzzle piece, he asked, "Did you grow up living with your dad?"
Lily shook her head. "No, I lived with my grandpa."
Grandpa?
Julian thought of Ian's father. The man hadn't retired yet; there was no way he had the free time to raise a kid hands-on.
"So how do you feel about your mom..." He paused, glancing at Sebastian before continuing, "...and your dad never getting married?"
Lily looked up in confusion.
She knew full well that Ian wasn't her real dad.
So it made perfect sense that her mom wasn't married to him.
She shook her head and said softly, "You misunderstand."

No, no, no! Sebastian needs to nip the Zella situation and win Raelynn back! Also, Leo, he is a wildcard for Sebastian's master plan... Sebastian- we know you know, what we know, win your family back!...
I thought now Sebastian and Raelynn will be together now that seraphina is not but you are not letting them to be. Two new female around Sebastian 😭...
I think Ian is sly. He is not what he seems. Sebastian loves Raelyn and they have a daughter together. Besides he has no family to even take care of him. I feel Raelyn should realise that Sebastian is only her true love and go back to him....
