Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 603

Seraphina's hands balled into tight fists.

She refused to believe Raelynn was completely unfazed. The other woman was just putting on a good act.

As long as Raelynn bought it, that was all that mattered.

She couldn't care less about the rest.

The business dinner successfully wrapped up.

Mr. Zane offered an even lower price than NexusMind's ideal target, a victory that made Raelynn genuinely thrilled and even more sincere in her gratitude.

When the evening ended...

As the host of the dinner, Raelynn had thoughtfully arranged cars to take everyone back out of courtesy and appreciation.

Traffic was terrible in the area, and only Mr. Zane had driven himself.

After booking a designated driver for him, Raelynn started organizing rides for the rest of the group.

Knowing alcohol would be involved, she had arranged for cars to be on standby ahead of time. She waved the guests over, ushering them into the vehicles one by one.

Seraphina was the last.

Walking right past Raelynn, she slid straight into the final car.

Raelynn didn't bother arguing with her.

Seraphina's car pulled away first.

Raelynn memorized the license plate, planning to call another ride for herself.

But before she could pull up the app...

Terrified screams echoed from down the street.

Followed by the harsh, ear-piercing screech of tires grinding against asphalt.

Raelynn's head snapped up.

She saw the car Seraphina had just gotten into. It hadn't even gone three hundred feet before it seemed to suffer a total mechanical failure, the speed and steering completely out of control.

It swerved wildly across the road.

Raelynn's brow furrowed.

What on earth was going on?

Meanwhile, in the car...

Seraphina was in the back seat. She never wore a seatbelt. She had just pulled out her phone, intending to call Sebastian.

Before the call could even connect...

The car jerked violently to the side.

She was nearly thrown across the cabin.

Her body slammed back and forth, entirely at the mercy of the vehicle's erratic movements.

When she looked up...

A crowd of onlookers had already gathered.

And through the crowd...

Seraphina spotted Raelynn rushing toward the scene.

A sudden, vicious thought surged into her mind.

The driver climbed out, visibly shaken but alive.

Raelynn arrived just in time. She knew the driver. The vehicle was a corporate car belonging to NexusMind, and the driver, Walter, was a military veteran with impeccable psychological resilience and experience.

"Walter, what happened?"

Raelynn's expression was incredibly dark.

That was far too close.

Someone could have easily been killed.

If Walter hadn't possessed nerves of steel, it would have been a fatal disaster.

Walter was panting heavily. "The brakes failed. The speed locked up. I just had this car serviced not long ago..."

"Raelynn!"
