Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 632

Gritting her teeth.

Her expression hardened as she pulled out her phone and photographed the confidential documents page by page.

Once finished, she shoved the files back exactly as she had found them.

Just as she pushed the heavy safe door shut.

The sound of approaching footsteps echoed outside.

She scrambled to her feet, hurrying over to the sofa just as the office door swung open. Sebastian walked in, his chiseled features stoic and unreadable as his gaze landed on her.

"Have you been waiting long?"

Seraphina's heart was still pounding. Looking at the handsome face that always left her breathless, a frantic urge to demand the truth about the password surged within her.

But she couldn't.

"No, am I interrupting you?" she asked softly, swallowing the bitter jealousy that threatened to tear her world apart.

"Not at all."

Sebastian walked over to his desk, unbuttoning his suit jacket and draping it casually over the back of his chair.

His gaze flicked briefly toward the space beneath his desk.

It was just a fleeting glance before he looked back at her. "Did you need something?"

Seraphina couldn't read his emotions, nor could she be certain of where she currently stood with him. "I wanted to ask you out tonight so we could talk privately, but you didn't answer my calls."

Taking his seat, Sebastian offered a faint, dismissive smirk. "My phone was on silent for the meeting."

That simple explanation did wonders to soothe her frayed nerves.

Taking advantage of the moment, she walked around the imposing desk, stepping behind his chair and resting her hands lightly on his shoulders. She leaned in close, her voice dripping with sweetness. "I thought you were ignoring me. It broke my heart. You haven't reached out much lately, and it's making me feel insecure."

Her fingers trailed lightly across his tailored shirt.

She shifted, intent on slipping onto his lap.

Looking at him with deep affection, she crouched beside his chair, resting her hand gently on his thigh. "Sebastian, I actually came today to share some wonderful news."

Sebastian lowered his gaze.

Staring at her hand on his dress pants with an unreadable expression.

His tone was perfectly flat. "Go on."

A radiant, blissful smile bloomed on Seraphina's face. "I'm going to be a mother! I'm pregnant with your baby. I just got the confirmation today. I wanted to plan a big surprise, but I simply couldn't wait to tell you. We're having a baby."

She watched his face intently, searching for a reaction.

Sebastian simply stared back in silence.

After a long moment, his gaze dropped to her stomach. "My child?"

Suppressing a sudden spike of guilt, Seraphina kept her smile perfectly intact, her eyes shining with emotion. "Of course. We're going to be parents. This is a gift. But the baby will need a proper family when they're born. I don't even need a wedding, just marry me. Please?"
