The sheer impact of that image was devastating.
The crowd looked in horror at Seraphina, whose face had completely twisted. She lunged frantically toward the control booth, screaming hysterically, "It's fake! It's not me! Turn it off!"
She had descended into complete lunacy.
Having her deepest, ugliest secrets dragged into the light triggered a furious meltdown. Her once sweet, charming face now looked absolutely demonic.
But that unhinged reaction.
Only solidified in everyone's minds that this... was the undeniable truth.
Such a celebrated, highly educated talent in the country had actually committed atrocities abroad. Academic fraud, whoring herself out as an academic socialite just to climb the ladder, and falsely accusing her own mentor, dooming his entire family to a lifetime of suffering.
And to top it all off...
"My God, she actually had a kid? I guess this is just routine for her—getting pregnant whenever she needs a bargaining chip!"
Someone gasped in absolute revulsion.
"Sleeping around like that and popping out kids, only to come back acting like some refined socialite trying to force a billionaire into marriage? This woman is a monster."
"Her poor professor ended up paralyzed. She might as well be a murderer!"
"I've met her a few times. She always seemed so elegant and intellectual. To think it was all a fabricated persona..."
"So malicious! If someone like her actually secured power in the medical field, how many innocent lives would she ruin?"
The unapologetic curses and insults bore down on her from every angle.
Seraphina swayed on her feet, utterly shattered. How had it come to this? Her affairs abroad had been buried perfectly. No one knew! How had everything been exposed to the very core, and...
Brutally ripped open in front of the most powerful elites who had gathered from all over the country to attend Forrest's welcome banquet.
Ensuring her absolute social destruction!
Even Cameron, whose face had been dark with fury, couldn't believe his eyes.
The woman he had once been engaged to harbored such a filthy, sordid past.
His expression turned even uglier.
The footage instantly became wildly explicit.
The star of the video was Seraphina, who had recorded it herself. And the man, clearly injecting illegal substances...
"Turn it off! This is slander! Shut that off right now!" Eleanor Tanner, who had been enjoying the drama from a nearby table, shot to her feet in a fury, smashing a teacup onto the table.
Beside her, Theon Tanner, who had been keeping a low profile and hiding in the crowd, went completely pale.
His face shifted from ghastly white to sickly green.
His eyes were wide with a volatile mix of shock and murderous rage.
He had only come today to enjoy the spectacle of the Croix family drama.
He never in a million years imagined that at the very end, he'd be dragged straight into the blast zone!
After his previous run-in with Sebastian, he had been hospitalized for a month and a half. The family elders hadn't wanted an open war with the Croix family, forcing him to swallow the humiliation without retaliation.
And since today was the welcome banquet for the Croix patriarch, he was obligated to attend.

The readers' comments on the novel: Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding
I think for as slow as the beginning was, their turning point is just so fast... really hope we actually get to read about R and S and their rekindle.... we did not read 950 pages for their story to be sidelined. Im for this sideline story, but it if it's to separate from the main characters and their story, please make it separate book....
Author please update more chapters...
I really like Zella, she is becoming a good friend to Raelynn. Ian needs to go. The relationship with Chloe is confusing. Some chapters they are cousins, sometimes they're sibling. A little confusing....
Julians role as big brother- I feel comes from a genuine place, but in a relationship thats is just as stained as Raelynns and Sebastians. It hard for me to connect to his big brother role as he too was such a problem before. And while they talked a little bit, the conversation did not give me the believe there was resolution between Raelynn and Julian. For a brute, he should make his feelings clear about the situation to Raelynn and then step back, until there is more foundation for him to stand on....
Knife in my heart. I hurt for Raelynn. She has made it this far, but how much does she have in her, everyone has a breaking point. Some back of me hopes the author is joking to lighten the mood after so many intense chapters, but thats not this kind of story or couple....
My heart cannot take this. This, cannot be how it ends with these too. They need resolution with each other. Raelynn needs to be more humanize with Sebastian. We know she is hurt, but this is the branch. She needs all these answers, if not for them to be together, then for Lily to have both her parents. Stop with the mind games Raelynn!...
Its like the story is just repeating itself...
Timeline is getting lost for me. So many treasured little memories Raelynn has but yet, he was gone for years ? Anyways... still rooting for them! These two need a heart to heart. Lily "forgetting" someone, not possible in this day and age and I hope thats not their storyline....
Sebastian, the man of few words.... needs to find all the words! Needs to fight for her! On note, seven years seems like a long time for this master plan (which I am sure goes back much farther). Rereading this novel, and it seems like everything has played out in a 5-8 month time span. And I feel like all Sebastian's doings/ plan have not been revealed. I hope we get to see the whole picture and have the resolutions we hope. But seven years of mistreatment, I just don't see Raelynn fully coming back. If these was 2-3 years, maybe, and I know it changes some characters around, but it would still work. Rooting for them!...
Literally on edge!...
