Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 660

Why exactly?

Beneath his calm demeanor was absolute cruelty. What kind of mindset did it take to do something like this?!

She just loved him. Why was he so cold and ruthless toward her?!

Sebastian's gaze remained hidden in the dim lighting of the car, offering her no answers.

As if to shatter the suffocating silence between them, Seraphina's phone rang.

She wanted to smash it to pieces.

But it kept ringing relentlessly.

With trembling hands, she finally pulled it out and answered frantically.

A voice on the other end delivered the news: "The shares you wanted to cash out won't reach the amount you asked for. Keystone Manufacturing's stock has tanked. Asking for seventy million is daylight robbery."

Seraphina's mind reeled.

"What do you mean?"

"Keystone has already transferred and merged all its core projects and technology into Croix Holdings. The essential divisions are completely gone, leaving only the marginalized, unprofitable projects. You want to cash out that much? Are you out of your mind?"

Seraphina's breath hitched.

"Keystone... Croix Holdings...?"

She stared in sheer terror at the man sitting in the car.

He merely pulled out a cigarette, his expression entirely devoid of sympathy.

The call disconnected.

Leaving Seraphina swaying on her feet, her mind buzzing with static. She asked in a panicked, disbelieving voice, "What does this mean? What did you do with Keystone and Croix Holdings?"

Sebastian looked at her, his gaze flat. "Did you forget about Keystone's shareholder meeting a few days ago? The one you refused to attend so you could use the pregnancy to trap me."

His reminder drained all the color from Seraphina's face.

It also ignited an uncontrollable surge of hatred within her. Tears streamed down her face as she screamed hysterically, "Why?! Why are you so ruthless to me?!"

He had known she wasn't at the meeting that day.

But he hadn't said a word.

The thought sent a violent shiver down her spine.

She was consumed by endless terror and confusion.

It felt as though tonight was a never-ending cycle of devastation, burying her deeper and deeper until she was dragged straight into hell, never to recover!

Sebastian, of course, offered no explanations.

A faint, mocking smile lingered on his lips. "The Vance family and the Winslow Antique Shop are going to be investigated top to bottom. Any shady dealings will be brought to light. You'd better prepare yourself."

It sounded like a warning.

He started the engine again, completely indifferent to the woman's agonizing breakdown, and shot her one last glance. "Since we're laying everything out on the table, I'll tell you one more thing."
