Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 663

"No need, I know the way."

Raelynn politely declined.

How did Sebastian know she was bringing Chairwoman Hayes here today? He probably didn't know the exact time and had just ordered the staff to roll out the red carpet whenever she showed up.

But when she thought about it, it made sense.

Given Dr. Hayes's prestige, and the fact that the shop was currently under Sebastian's control, ensuring Dr. Hayes found exactly what she was looking for would earn him a massive favor.

Raelynn offered a tight smile, masking a flicker of sarcasm.

She led Dr. Hayes and Sierra straight up to the third-floor calligraphy and painting gallery.

As soon as they arrived, Dr. Hayes froze, her eyes locking onto a specific piece before she hurried over.

In a prominent, standalone display area, a single painting hung securely behind meticulous protective casing.

Dr. Hayes's eyes filled with tears. "Yes, this is it. This one is undoubtedly genuine!"

The piece Sylvia Dalton had brought back previously was too water-damaged to properly authenticate. But one look at this painting, and she knew the brushstrokes belonged to her late husband.

Raelynn let out a sigh of relief.

However...

Since Sebastian hadn't legally transferred the shop back to her yet, she couldn't just hand the painting over to Dr. Hayes. She frowned, trying to figure out how to handle it.

The manager reappeared, flashing a flawless smile. "Mr. Croix left specific instructions that this piece was to be held aside and presented to Chairwoman Hayes the moment she arrived. If you'd like, I can have it carefully wrapped for you right away."

Hearing that, Dr. Hayes knew exactly who was behind this.

Truthfully, she wasn't fond of Sebastian, mostly because of the whole Seraphina scandal. She found him disloyal and felt he treated Raelynn poorly as a husband.

She definitely had her reservations about him.

But now...

He had handled this situation with such flawless execution.

She pressed her lips together. "Thank you. Please pass on my gratitude to Mr. Croix."

Raelynn continued showing Dr. Hayes around the gallery.

The shop was massive.

The third floor alone was split into multiple specialized wings.

Raelynn didn't have every single artifact memorized, but she navigated the sections effortlessly. "This floor houses calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, and a large collection of jade and ancient glass."

She shared the history behind a few of the pieces.

Dr. Hayes smiled, visibly enjoying the tour. "So, you aren't the one managing the shop right now?"

Judging by the manager's comments earlier, Sebastian was clearly calling the shots.

Raelynn shrugged. "It's a bit complicated. The shop was stolen by my father years ago, and through a strange turn of events, it ended up with Sebastian. But he promised to sign it back over to me."

"I see." Dr. Hayes nodded. "Well, at least he's keeping his word like a real man."

As they kept walking, Dr. Hayes caught sight of something out of the corner of her eye.
