Raelynn felt a sudden spike of anger.

This was between her and Ian. Having Sebastian, an outsider, sit there and casually dissect her love life infuriated her.

"My relationship with him doesn't hinge on a fancy ritual. You really don't need to worry about us."

With that, Raelynn turned on her heel and walked out.

She knew she wasn't going to get any more information out of Sebastian today.

Sebastian's gaze turned predatory and cold. "Call my secretary. I want a total blackout on what happened at the resort today. The Croix family cannot find out I was the one who saved Lily."

Leo nodded instinctively, already reaching for his phone, but paused. "Hide it from your family? Why? What are you worried about?"

Sebastian had no intention of explaining himself.

Instead, he added thoughtfully, "Do me a favor. Find out exactly how Seraphina Vance managed to sneak into the venue."

Raelynn looked up. "That is the Yves family's business. Keep it to yourself. Lily needs to rest. If there's nothing else, please leave."

She kicked him out without a shred of politeness.

Stepping out of the room, Julian texted Leo to get Sebastian's room number.

Sebastian glanced at him. "Something to say?"

Julian sneered. "I'm just surprised. You know damn well Lily is Ian's kid, yet you threw yourself off a building without a second thought. Since when did you become such a selfless martyr?"
