"Huh?" Giselle stared at Donovan like he had gone crazy. "What are you talking about? Who? Why would I be hung up on him?"

Donovan let out a low chuckle. "I saw how you couldn't stop staring at him. You were practically drooling. Do you think I didn't notice?"

Giselle nearly laughed out loud. "Donovan, if you're going to be jealous, can you at least pick someone in your league? Are you really going to accuse me over some random guy?"

Donovan rolled his eyes at her.

Giselle felt a wave of guilt hit her under his piercing gaze. She quickly tried to explain, "Fine, I admit it. I did look at the guy a few extra times. But do you want to know why? It's because I kept thinking his face looked like he'd had plastic surgery. I couldn't stop staring at him, wondering if his double eyelids were made with surgery."

"Why does that matter?"

"It doesn't!" Giselle shot back at once.

Then, she muttered, "Since you're always overthinking things, just hire a female bodyguard for me. I don't care who it is, but just get someone fast. I can't stand being stuck at home as if I'm under house arrest!"

Donovan chuckled. "Fine, I'll take care of it as soon as I can. But for now, you'll stay beside me all the time."

"You might as well just tie me to your waist," grumbled Giselle.

Giselle spent the following days resting and managing her pregnancy. She almost never left home and instead communicated with her team through her phone.
