"Why are you acting so weird?" Giselle asked again.

Chris quickly softened his tone and said, "Her name is Nora Holt. She shares the same last name as yours."

"Gosh, and I thought it was something serious!" Giselle let out a breath of relief. Knowing he was a foreigner whose thinking was often a bit unusual, she laughed it off.

Nora chuckled as well. "Holt is a super common last name in our country. Nothing special about it! It can be considered fate that Ms. Holt and I share the same last name."

Jeffrey also cracked a couple of jokes, then went back to walking at the front with Giselle. They continued their discussion about medicinal material procurement, paying no mind to Chris' earlier abnormal reaction.
