Giselle thought the scenery here was quite beautiful, and the weather was just right. She planned to stroll around a bit more to breathe in the fresh air, so she wasn't walking fast.

Suddenly, just as she and Nora were slowly approaching a bend in the path, two dogs appeared up ahead!

These weren't the usual pet dogs. They were large, obviously aggressive, and were walking straight toward the two of them.

Nora instinctively felt terrified at the sight and didn't dare go forward. "Where did those dogs come from? Will they bite?"

Giselle had a background in veterinary medicine. Though she could clearly sense something was off about these two dogs, she stayed as calm as she could and tried to reassure Nora. "It's okay. Let's not move for now, and don't shout."

Even as she said this, Giselle felt far from confident. These dogs were Presa Canarios, notorious for their viciousness and prone to rage. On top of that, she was pregnant, which made her all the more anxious.

She intended to place a phone call to Chris.

But just as she pulled out her phone, the two dogs suddenly sped up and charged at them.

"Ah! No!" Nora screamed in terror and instinctively ran.

Sure enough, one of the dogs sprinted after her while the other lunged to attack Giselle.

Giselle was frightened too. Drawing on years of clinical experience, she didn't run immediately. At first, she picked up a stone from the side to scare the dog off, putting on a strong front.

But the dog's aggression was overwhelming. It was clearly trained and targeting her specifically. Even though she stayed as calm as possible, the dog still went into a frenzy and leaped at her.

Seeing it about to bite her, her heart raced. After kicking it away with all her strength, she swiftly took off her outer coat.
