Giselle was expecting soon. So, Renee's vicious curses immediately garnered a violent reaction from her, causing her heart to pound in fear. She felt herself shake as she turned stark white with fury. After a beat, she shrieked at Heath, "Get this hag out of my sight! I want her out! Now!"

The bodyguards showed no mercy upon receiving Heath's signal as they dragged Renee out, manhandling her to the door. Renee kept ranting and raving like a lunatic. She no longer cared about upholding her image. Instead, she continued to froth at the mouth just to get a few more licks in.

Chris drove up to the villa just as she was thrown out of the doors.

He had dropped by on Donovan's orders to pick up some important documents from the villa. So, he got a front row seat to today's drama as soon as he got out of the car.

He'd long known that Renee was Anne's biological mother.

Therefore, he immediately suspected that Renee had come by to reveal some heavily fabricated truth to Giselle.

His guard instantly went up as he asked a nearby housekeeper, "Why is she here?"

The housekeeper sneered in contempt. "She's Mrs. Kane's stepmother, but they're like cats and dogs. This time, she came here to beg Mrs. Kane to save her daughter. It didn't take long for that talk to devolve into a screaming match that ended with her getting tossed out like garbage."

Chris felt his tense muscles relax slightly upon hearing her answer.

At this point, Renee couldn't possibly force her way through the doors. So, she could only tidy her hair, get into the back seat of her car, and leave.

In the recording, Renee had repeatedly begged Giselle and Donovan to spare Anne.

Meanwhile, Giselle had let slip a few ambiguous words in her fury—words that could prove that they'd orchestrated everything.

Once Renee took this recording to a defense attorney, it could not only be used as evidence to land Donovan in prison, but Anne might also escape legal punishment.
