Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 128

Bianca said unhappily, “It’s me.”

Cedric was speechless. He cleared his throat and lowered his head. “The old master was planning to come, but Mr. Cyril is currently in the emergency room. The old master was worried, so he sent us instead.”

Vivienne’s eyes flickered, and she stepped out from the group. “What happened to Cyril Bean?”

With outsiders present at the manor gate, Cedric couldn’t speak plainly. “It’s nothing serious. On the way here, the old master called to say everything is fine now. Miss Lexton, Miss Bianca, please get in the car.”

To think that snake, Cyril, could prevent Grandpa from coming to pick them up. He really couldn’t be underestimated.

Vivienne led Bianca to elder Mrs. Crowhurst. “Great-Grandma, we’re leaving. We’ll come visit you again.”

Elder Mrs. Crowhurst waved. “Go on. Eat well and be good when you get back.”

The two of them agreed and reluctantly got into the car.

Cedric walked around the vehicle, then approached and bowed his head. “Elder Mrs. Crowhurst.”

Elder Mrs. Crowhurst nodded, her gaze sweeping lightly over the car behind him. Cedric understood the unspoken message and bowed again. “Please take care of yourself.”

Bianca leaned against the window, looking back. “Strange, why so many cars just to pick up the two of us?” She tapped the window and looked surprised. “Is this bulletproof glass?”

Vivienne, who had been thinking about Cyril, was taken aback by the question. “Has Stormhollow Deepwater Port been unsafe lately?”

In her previous life, after the Slaughter Gate incident, the Athelvia conglomerate lived in the shadow of that massacre for years. Five-star bodyguards and armored vehicles became their standard escort.

Bianca shrugged. “What does that have to do with us? We’re just kids.”

Vivienne didn’t answer. She didn’t want to frighten Bianca. The late-stage Stormhollow Deepwater Port of her memory was not a peaceful place. She vaguely recalled one year when five children from wealthy families were kidnapped. The kidnappers demanded 150 million dollars in ransom. The money was paid, but the kidnappers killed the hostages anyway. None of the five children returned alive, and two of the girls had died in a particularly gruesome manner.

Bianca leaned out of the car. “Great-Grandma! Mr. Marsh! Bye-bye! I’ll miss you!”

The car began to move slowly, and the story of the old manor came to a close at the end of August.

Vivienne watched the scenery fly by outside the window, a sudden, ominous premonition growing stronger and stronger.

All the scenes before her eyes seemed to flip upside down, as if the world was turning on its head.

A rushing sound filled her ears.

She felt as if she had plunged into the deep sea, her consciousness slowly slipping away. Through the shimmering water, in her distorted vision—

Bianca was leaning out the window, shouting at the rolling hills. Cedric turned to stop her, but Vivienne couldn’t make out his words.

Vivienne lunged forward. Through the shattered window, she saw Bianca fall vertically from the mountain road.

[A notification chimed.]

At that moment, a synthetic voice echoed in her mind.

[Character: Bianca. Penalty for willfully tearing off character label: Immediate Erasure!]

Immediate erasure?

A numb chill washed over Vivienne.

Her mind went blank for a second. When she came to her senses, she threw open the car door and rushed out. “Bianca!”

Cedric was startled. He grabbed a pistol from the car and hurried out to pull Vivienne back.

“Miss Lexton, get back in the car! It’s safe inside,” he said, his eyes scanning their surroundings warily.

“What’s going on?”

Vivienne froze, turning her head as if in a daze. When she saw the newcomer’s face, her gaze trembled. “A… la… ric…”
