Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 127

“Huh?”

Before Bianca could process it, someone pushed her from behind. She looked back, confused, and after seeing the look in Vivienne’s eyes, she nodded. “I’m willing.”

Theodore Marsh stood up. “Great-Grandma, may I have a few words with Bianca alone?”

Elder Mrs. Crowhurst nodded and instructed a maid in the hall, “Please take Mr. Marsh and Bianca to the side parlor.”

Bianca glanced back at Vivienne, and seeing her gentle nod, she didn’t say anything and obediently followed.

Once they had left the main hall, elder Mrs. Crowhurst beckoned to Vivienne.

“Great-Grandma.”

As Vivienne approached, elder Mrs. Crowhurst took her hand with a benevolent smile.

“Without you, Bianca never would have earned Mr. Marsh’s favor. For the past two months, everyone has been praising Bianca. Now even Mr. Marsh prefers Bianca. Tell me, do you feel any resentment?”

Vivienne shook her head. “No.”

In truth, elder Mrs. Crowhurst already knew the answer the moment Vivienne had pushed Bianca forward.

The old woman untied a small cloth pouch from her waist, took out a red cloth-wrapped object, and handed it to Vivienne. “Good child. Don’t worry, your blessings are yet to come.”

Vivienne unwrapped the red cloth. Inside was a silver heirloom locket.

“This is…” Her gaze trembled, her eyes losing focus.

Elder Mrs. Crowhurst patted her hand. “Keep it. It’s a small token from your great-grandmother. I’m old, and I can’t bear to see a good child be wronged.”

Vivienne stared at the locket in her hand for a long time, her expression complex.

In her past life, her grandfather had been holding this exact locket when he died. At the time, no one knew its origin. It turned out to be from elder Mrs. Crowhurst.

But back then, elder Mrs. Crowhurst had long been dead. She couldn’t have been the murderer.

A flash of insight struck Vivienne.

Not wanting Vivienne to feel left out, elder Mrs. Crowhurst chimed in with a smile, “They are both students. Mr. Marsh, you mustn’t play favorites. Please offer some guidance to Vivienne as well, won’t you?”

The smile on Bianca’s face instantly froze. Damn it! She had been so happy that she’d forgotten to consider Vivienne’s feelings. She immediately grabbed Vivienne’s hand and rubbed her head against her shoulder apologetically.

Since elder Mrs. Crowhurst had made the request, Theodore wouldn’t refuse. He considered for a moment and said, “I’ll be in Stormhollow Deepwater Port for about another six months. If the old master is willing, I can tutor both of them in their studies.”

“Thank you, Professor.”

Tutoring and becoming a formal student were two different things, but Vivienne didn’t mind. As long as her academic problems were solved, she didn’t care who taught her.

At ten in the morning, the Ravenshire family’s cars arrived at the old manor on time.

Cedric got out of the car. The moment he appeared, Bianca shouted in displeasure, “Cedric? Why is it you? Where’s Grandpa? Didn’t he say he would pick us up himself?”

“Miss Bianca?” Cedric took a moment to recognize the dark-skinned girl with spiky hair.
