Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 136

Although Dorian never showed it, Cyril knew he was determined to become the head of the Ravenshire family. He would never allow anyone in the family to threaten his position, which was why he had been trying to find a way to eliminate the obstacle that was Alaric.

As things stood, Alaric was untouchable. But Dorian would certainly be happy to cause him some trouble.

Bianca was from the third branch of the family. If she died in this accident, Talia, with her fiery temper, would undoubtedly blame Alaric.

Therefore, Dorian would definitely make a move to kill them.

Cyril slowly lowered his gaze.

What did the Ravenshires tearing each other apart have to do with him?

Dorian silently lit a cigarette and calmly blew a smoke ring. "Send them…"

"Dad." Cyril's eyes suddenly snapped open, and he turned to Dorian. "We can't kill them."

Dorian frowned, covering the phone's receiver and looking at Cyril with suspicion.

"What did you say?"

Cyril was composed, yet a hint of urgency still slipped through. "Dad! It’s not worth it to hurt ourselves just to land a minor blow on the enemy!"

Dorian’s frown deepened.

Cyril continued, "Dad, if something happens to them, Grandfather will launch a full investigation. No matter how meticulous your plan is, there's always a chance something could be overlooked. If we were killing Alaric, the risk might be worth it.

But them? One is an adopted daughter, and the other's last name is Whitmore. At most, they'll take some of Grandfather's affection. They have no chance at any real power in the Ravenshire family. Besides, Talia has already severed ties with the Whitmores. As a divorcee who’s no longer under their protection, even if she hates Alaric, she’s powerless.

Is it really worth risking Grandfather's wrath for such a petty gain? Isn't that just hurting ourselves more than we hurt them?"

Dorian's gaze grew intense as he examined Cyril with a blank expression.

Cyril's eyes were sincere, desperately trying to hide his urgency, as if he were genuinely just worried his father would make the wrong decision.

After a long moment, Dorian burst out laughing.

He spoke into the phone, "Fall back. Let them fend for themselves."

Hanging up, the man turned to his brilliant son and gave him a thumbs-up. "Not bad! A sharp analysis of the situation."

Cyril was speechless.

The rainwater seeping into the soil gradually acted as a lubricant. Vivienne wedged her hand against a tree stump and pulled on Bianca's leg, inch by inch.

Bianca felt it. She clenched her jaw and bent her knee. They didn't exchange a single word, relying entirely on their unspoken understanding.

The rain kept falling, showing no signs of stopping.

After another struggle, the water in the ditch had risen past Bianca's chin.

She tilted her head back, held her breath, and clung desperately to the muddy ground beneath her.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her right leg. Bianca froze, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"Vivienne! I can feel my leg!"

With a splash, Vivienne broke the surface of the water.

"It wasn't paralyzed. Of course you can feel it."
