Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 15

Talia paid Vivienne no mind. Her gaze swept over her once before she walked straight to Bianca. Her posture was light and her expression casual, but her languid, relaxed manner was incredibly oppressive.

“Mom.” Bianca knew she was in the wrong, and her voice lacked its usual confidence.

Talia stopped and gave her a blank look before turning to bend down and help Tessa to her feet.

Sensing the tense atmosphere, Tessa tried to smooth things over, afraid Talia would blame Bianca. “Ms. Talia, it’s not Miss Bianca’s fault—”

“Tessa,” Talia cut her off calmly.

Tessa’s words caught in her throat, and she said no more.

Talia placed Tessa’s hand on her own arm, then turned to face a guilt-ridden Bianca. Her tone was flat. “Come here. Apologize.”

Bianca’s expression shifted, and her red-rimmed eyes instantly welled up with tears. Her gaze involuntarily flickered toward Vivienne as she said stiffly, “I won’t apologize! She’s just a servant for the Ravenshire family. If I broke her, I’ll pay for it. Why should I have to apologize?!”

The words were like a sharp knife piercing Tessa’s heart. Even though she knew you couldn't take a child's words seriously, she couldn't stop her eyes from turning red.

The light in Talia’s eyes dimmed. “Bianca, first, it’s not a crime to make a mistake, but don’t lie to yourself. Learn to apologize. Second, Tessa is not a servant; she is family. This world isn't just made of people who share your blood. Do you understand?”

Bianca remained silent, clearly not having absorbed much of the lesson. In contrast, Vivienne, standing to the side, felt like she had just been schooled.

When they both did something wrong, Talia taught Bianca to apologize, while Serena had trained her to lie through her teeth, no matter the cost.

Regarding family, Talia told Bianca that family isn't defined by blood, but Serena was constantly reminding her that only her mother and sister were her true family, because they shared the same blood, and blood was thicker than water.

Vivienne could see through Talia’s intentions because she held the script, but Bianca couldn't. She cried out in frustration, “Why are you glaring at me like that! Are you even my mother? Ever since I was little, you’ve done nothing but scowl at everything I do, unlike Dad and my aunts. They only see the good in me! But you? You only lecture and criticize me. If you dislike me so much, why did you even have me?”

“Bianca!” Tessa’s expression changed, her disappointment palpable. “You can’t say things like that!”

The emotion in Talia’s eyes deepened, but her face remained impassive. “Bianca, if you can’t even face your own mistakes now, what will you ever be able to do?”

Bianca wasn’t listening at all. She pointed a finger at Vivienne. “What about her? Why don’t you make her apologize to me? Was she right in what she did today? Mom, why can’t you just be biased towards me like Serena and Grandpa are to her?”

Talia frowned, her gaze shifting to Vivienne. A normal person would have tried to leave a situation like this, but she was still watching the show.

Vivienne met Talia’s gaze and, in an instant, adjusted her attitude. She smiled at Talia, her expression innocent and sincere. “Madam, don’t misunderstand. I came to apologize to Bianca.”
