Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 180

The following morning.

Vivienne Lexton had barely opened her eyes before Marissa had her washed, dressed, and pushed out the doors of Obsidian Estate.

A luxurious stretch limousine idled in the courtyard. Vivienne let out a lazy yawn just as the tinted window rolled down, revealing a face of aristocratic, indifferent perfection.

Alaric Ravenshire glanced at his watch. "If you don't get in, you're going to be late."

Vivienne's expression instantly soured. "If you're so miserable about it, you don't have to take me."

Alaric, already well acquainted with her bratty nature, raised his gaze. "And then you'll go complaining to Grandpa that I abandoned you on purpose, hoping he'll punish me?"

Vivienne's eyes widened. "How did you know?"

She had watched Grandpa completely put Alaric and Julian in their places the day before, and she was burning with curiosity to know what kind of leverage the old man had on them.

Alaric turned his head away, clearly having no intention of explaining himself.

"Miss Lexton," Wesley Crain said, stepping out from the other side. He opened the passenger door and gestured for her to enter.

Vivienne sauntered around the car, tilting her chin up with an infuriatingly arrogant smirk. "Say it. 'Princess, please get in.'"

Behind his dark sunglasses, Wesley's dead-fish eyes twitched in disbelief.

"If you don't say it," Vivienne threatened lightly, "you'll have to shove me in."

Inside the car, Alaric was holding a copy of *Discourses on Livy*. He was just about to turn the page when his eyelid twitched, and his long fingers froze.

Shoving again? Was there no end to this?

Wesley cast a silent, pleading look at his boss. Alaric's psychological trauma from yesterday's 'shoving' incident had to be worse than his own.

Alaric calmly flipped the page, his gaze fixed on the text. "Wesley. You have one minute."

Wesley's face went completely blank. "Princess, please get in."

"Mm-hmm." Vivienne's mood skyrocketed. "Remember this. This is the standard procedure every time you pick me up." With that, she happily slid into the backseat.

But she might as well give up. When his boss was absorbed in a book, he was an impenetrable fortress of iron. Not even a mythical siren could lure him away.

"I don't like this car," Vivienne announced. "Next time you take me to school, can you fly a helicopter?"

Alaric's fingers stalled on the page once more.

"The last time I checked, some girls in my class get dropped off in their brother's chopper," Vivienne continued breezily. "Their brothers are so cool. They even fly it themselves. If you keep showing up like this, my classmates are going to laugh at me."

Alaric looked up. "The school has a helipad?"

"Yeah. People use it when they want to show off."

"Fine," Alaric said evenly. "Next time."

Wesley stiffened in the front seat, unable to believe his ears.

Vivienne raised an eyebrow, boldly pushing her luck. "Also, other brothers give their sisters a monthly allowance so they can shop whenever they want. That way, she won't be easily tricked by some street punk offering her a cheap cup of coffee."
