Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 191

The next morning brought a clear, boundless blue sky.

An S-class Maybach idled at the gates of the Obsidian Estate.

Vivienne hoisted her backpack, a yawn dying in her throat as she suddenly felt wide awake. Grandpa really spared no expense when it came to his favorite green tea hypocrite.

Lennox stepped out of the passenger side and opened the door with practiced chivalry. "Miss Lexton, please get in."

At this stage of the story, Cyril was completely broke, meaning there was absolutely nothing she could extort from him. With zero incentive to mess with him, Vivienne lazily climbed into the backseat.

"Mr. Cyril, Miss Lexton, we're heading out," Lennox announced politely as he got back in and buckled his seatbelt.

"Alright," Cyril replied, turning his gaze out the window.

The atmosphere in the car was quiet. Abnormally quiet.

Vivienne hadn't planned on speaking to Cyril anyway, so the silence was the perfect excuse to catch up on her sleep. She leaned against the window on her side of the car, her eyelids already drooping.

The drive from the Obsidian Estate to the school took about twenty minutes, and Vivienne tossed and turned the entire way.

In her dream, her precious Little Stray had been knocked flat on his back. But just as she ran over to scoop him up, the turtle's face morphed into Cyril's.

"Give me love! Give me love!"

"Ah! Get away from me!"

Vivienne whimpered in her sleep before her eyes snapped open. Her stunning eyes immediately locked onto the exact same handsome face from her nightmare. "Ah!"

She let out a sharp gasp, shoved the real Cyril away, and sat up, her heart hammering against her ribs.

Lennox unbuckled his seatbelt and looked back at her. "Miss Lexton, are you alright? We've arrived at school. Mr. Cyril tried waking you several times, but you didn't respond. He thought something was wrong, which is why he leaned in."

Cyril had frozen for a second when she pushed him, but he didn't say a word. He simply straightened up, opened the door, and stepped out.

Vivienne took a few shallow breaths. Without waiting for Lennox, she hugged her pink backpack and scrambled out of the car.

The girl was panting, but she managed to catch up, throwing her arms out to block Cyril's path.

"It's you?" Cyril stopped in his tracks.

Yesterday, when Harrison hired those mercenaries to jump him outside the school, it was this very girl who had played a police siren ringtone on her phone, effectively saving his life.

Later, when he collapsed in an alleyway from sheer exhaustion, she was the one who bought him painkillers and water.

The cold detachment in the teenager's eyes was instantly replaced by a programmed, gentle warmth. "I owe you for yesterday. Thank you."

The girl's cheeks flushed bright red. "Oh, it was nothing! Anyone would have stepped in to help, right?"

Her expressions were wildly animated, her innocent charm perfectly complemented by the mole near her eye. She looked absolutely captivating.

"It was incredibly dangerous yesterday. I had no idea our school had such violent people lurking around. Do you want me to go to the teachers with you? I can be your witness."
