Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 213

"Then I'll..." Bianca bent down, ready to squeeze into the car.

Cyril immediately put his arm out to block her. "Sorry, we're at full capacity."

Bianca peered into the backseat, then yelled toward the Maybach, "Vivi, wait for me at the Obsidian Estate!"

After calling out, she turned her attention to Aurelia. When Aurelia had bolted out of the car to stand beside her earlier, it had completely caught her off guard.

"Did you get a hold of Benedict? You shouldn't go back to the estate tonight. You'll definitely be punished. Go hide at your parents' house for a few days."

Benedict Ravenshire adored his daughter. He would absolutely cover for her.

Aurelia shook her head. "I was involved in what happened today too. Even if Caspian punishes me, I'll take it."

Bianca nodded. "Fine. It's your choice."

Just then, a sleek Rolls-Royce Phantom glided smoothly out of the garage and pulled up right beside Bianca.

The driver stepped out and held the door open. "Miss."

Bianca grabbed the doorframe, ready to climb in. Then she paused, looking back at Aurelia. "Hey. Do you want a ride?"

Aurelia froze. This was the first time Bianca had ever offered her anything.

Bianca frowned. "Never mind then."

Aurelia immediately rushed forward and grabbed the door on the opposite side. "Yes. I do."

Looking slightly awkward, Bianca slipped into the backseat.

As the car smoothly pulled away, Aurelia sat stiffly in the corner. The silence between them was suffocating.

Bianca discreetly observed Aurelia. Seeing the girl constantly picking at her fingernails, she turned her head to look out the window and cleared her throat. "Um. Thanks for earlier."

"Huh?" Aurelia was momentarily stunned. She looked up, genuinely surprised, then offered a shy smile. "You don't have to thank me. You're my sister. I should protect you."

"..." A wave of complicated emotions washed over Bianca.

They hadn't always hated each other. The rift between them started during the summer of their fourth-grade year.

Talia Ravenshire had gifted Bianca a tiny Pomeranian, and Bianca had loved that dog more than anything in the world. At the time, Aurelia was also staying at the Obsidian Estate, and the two girls would constantly walk their dogs together in the sprawling gardens.

"..." Aurelia went quiet for a moment, a stubborn glint in her eyes. "Are you afraid that if I tell the truth, Caspian will punish Vivienne?"

Bianca nodded.

Aurelia couldn't comprehend it. "Do you honestly think what she did today was right?"

Bianca frowned. "What are you trying to say?"

"This could have been handled quietly," Aurelia argued. "Inciting an entire school riot is unacceptable. Yes, Harrison is a horrible person, but we could have petitioned the school board and disciplinary committee to intervene. Her actions are just going to make enemies for the Ravenshire family. And Mr. Finch was just an employee... She practically robbed him of hundreds of thousands of dollars. If this gets out..."

"Stop!" Bianca pressed a hand to her forehead, exhausted. "Don't speak to me for the rest of the ride. Forget what I said. We are never moving past what happened when we were kids."

Aurelia stared at her, utterly bewildered. "Bianca..."

She called her name, but Bianca didn't flinch. She pulled out her AirPods, completely shutting the world out, her face a mask of cold indifference.

"..." Aurelia lowered her gaze, anxiously picking at her fingers once again.
