Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 214

Inside the Maybach, the atmosphere was suffocatingly tense.

Vivienne sat by the window. Julian sat beside her. Alaric sat directly across from her, and Cyril occupied the diagonal seat.

Alaric casually crossed his legs and pressed a button on the armrest. The privacy glass smoothly hummed upward, entirely sealing the back of the car off from the driver.

"Speak," Alaric demanded, tapping his fingers methodically against the armrest. His gaze seemed relaxed, but it was locked onto her with the precision of a predator stalking its prey.

Vivienne blinked innocently. "Speak about what?"

Julian unapologetically stretched his long legs out, crowding her space. His voice was laced with lazy arrogance. "Tell us what your actual goal is. What did the Montclair family ever do to you? Why orchestrate a public execution?"

Vivienne turned to Julian. "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about."

Julian leaned forward, his face inches from hers. "Listen, little psycho. I know I owe you for the hospital, but you are currently carrying the Ravenshire name. Whatever hidden agenda you've got cooking in that head of yours, drop it."

She could have ended the fight several times. She had gotten her revenge, the boys had been beaten bloody, but she kept pushing until it became an absolute spectacle. To top it off, she extorted three hundred and fifty thousand dollars from them. She was actively painting a massive target on the Ravenshire family's back.

"Ah, you don't trust me." Vivienne nodded slowly. She shifted her gaze from Julian to Cyril, and finally to Alaric. "What is this? An interrogation? Did I break a sacred law or something? Try me. See if I don't go crying to Caspian."

Julian raised an eyebrow. "Damn. The kid's got teeth."

"You don't need to use Caspian as a shield for everything," Alaric said smoothly. "Even if I don't ask, he will. You won't be able to play dumb with him."

Vivienne turned her focus to Cyril. "Are you with them?"

Cyril smiled softly and shook his head. "No. I'm not that ungrateful."

Julian glared at him. "Who the hell are you calling ungrateful?"

Ignoring the bickering, Alaric cut straight to the point. "Did Harrison do something to offend you?"

Vivienne shook her head. "No."

"What about Bernard?"

"Nope."

Alaric frowned. "Then why did you orchestrate their public destruction?"

Vivienne threw her hands up. "Isn't it obvious? I did it for the money. What else?"

Alaric stared at her. "..."

"The money?" Julian looked at her like she had lost her mind. "Are you seriously telling us you incited a thousand-person riot just to squeeze a few hundred grand out of the Montclairs?"

"It wasn't extortion!" she argued fiercely. "He ruined two panels of perfectly good paint. That's a verifiable fact."

"..." Julian looked like he was suffering a migraine.
