Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 223

The backyard of Obsidian Estate was strictly private territory, so guests were always entertained in the front courtyards.

The Everhart, Blackthorne, and Montclair families had brought quite an entourage. While the three family heads were escorted into the main hall to negotiate, the rest of their relatives were left to wait in the side parlor.

Because Victoria was legally a Ravenshire by marriage, she treated the estate like she owned the place. The maids even prepared her favorite specific pastries.

Harrison slouched in his wheelchair, his eyes burning with toxic rage. "Aunt Victoria, you have to ruin them for what they did to me."

Victoria took a slow, elegant sip of her black tea, completely unfazed. "What's the rush? Just sit back and watch." She set her cup down and shot a sharp glare at the maid pouring tea. "Where is Cyril? The elders of the family are sitting right here. Why hasn't he come out to greet us? Go drag him in here."

The maid's hand trembled, clearly caught in a tough spot. "Mrs. Ravenshire, Mr. Cyril is already at school."

Victoria's eyes narrowed dangerously. She slammed her teacup down onto the saucer. "I don't care if he's sitting in the middle of a lecture! Tell him to get his ass back here, right now!"

Terrified to defend Cyril any further, the maid gave a frantic nod and scurried out of the room.

Over on the corner sofa, Preston was silently scrolling through his phone. His group chats were flooded with his wealthy friends asking why he skipped military training, but the gossip was entirely brainless—mostly debating which girl in the neighboring class was prettier or sending embarrassing photos of people falling during drills.

Preston felt a profound sense of boredom.

A maid quietly approached the table to set down a plate of pastries. "Mr. Preston, would you care for something to drink?"

Preston smoothly locked his phone and offered a warm, polite smile. "Just a glass of water, please. Thank you."

Who didn't love a well-mannered, educated young gentleman? The maid instantly melted. "Would you prefer it warm?"

"Warm is perfect."

"Aunt Victoria, don't forget about that little psycho!" Harrison yelled out suddenly. "She's the one who orchestrated the whole thing! You have to make her pay!"

Preston raised an eyebrow. Pretending to take a sip of his water, he subtly shifted his gaze toward the opposite sofa.

"You mean the older Lexton girl?" Victoria asked dismissively. Her main goal today was to establish dominance over Cyril; she didn't have the brain space to care about a nobody's name.

Harrison nodded violently, his face twisting into a nasty snarl. "Exactly! That psychotic bitch! Vivienne Lexton! Aunt Victoria..."

"That's enough!" Victoria snapped, shooting him a warning look to shut up before glancing nervously toward Preston.
