Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 226

The side parlor and the main hall were only separated by a central garden. Bianca didn't waste any time, pulling Vivienne directly across the manicured lawn. The second they stepped foot into the parlor, Victoria's arrogant, venomous voice rang out.

"Apologize properly."

Vivienne and Bianca froze in the doorway, exchanging a quick look.

Cyril stood perfectly still in the center of the room. He didn't even grant Victoria the dignity of eye contact.

"Aunt Victoria, is he deaf?" Harrison sneered from his wheelchair. "Or is he just openly disrespecting you?"

Victoria leaned back against the plush sofa, crossing her legs as she glared at Cyril with open disgust. "What's the matter? You were so eager to play the obedient servant and serve tea the other day. Now I'm telling you to apologize, and you suddenly freeze up?"

Cyril kept his gaze lowered, his handsome face completely devoid of emotion.

Victoria looked him up and down with critical disdain. "I honestly have no idea what my father-in-law sees in you. You don't possess a single trait that resembles him."

Cyril's dark, ink-like eyes trembled for a fraction of a second, a dangerous glint flashing in the depths of his gaze.

The surrounding maids were practically sweating with anxiety, desperate to intervene but too terrified of Victoria's authority. When they spotted the two girls lingering in the doorway, their faces instantly lit up with hope. "Miss Lexton! Miss Bianca! You're here!"

The loud announcement immediately shifted Victoria's crosshairs.

Cyril lowered his eyelashes, burying whatever dark emotion had just surfaced.

Victoria raised an eyebrow, scanning the two girls. Bianca was much tanner than before, sporting a choppy new haircut that made her look like a rebellious tomboy. Standing next to her, Vivienne looked like an ethereal, perfectly polished angel straight out of a painting.
