Victoria was completely stunned. In the blink of an eye, something flew past her face, followed immediately by Harrison squealing like a slaughtered pig.
"Ahhh! It hurts! It hurts!"
"Stop clawing! My... my stitches are going to rip!"
By the time anyone registered what was happening, Harrison had been kicked to the floor. Vivienne was straddling his chest, violently yanking his hair and swiping at his eyes.
"This is outrageous!" Victoria screamed at the maids behind her. "Pull her off him!"
The maids hesitated, shoving each other but refusing to step forward. Left with no choice, Victoria lunged in to do it herself. Suddenly, Bianca exploded from the sofa. She grabbed a fistful of Victoria's hair and violently yanked her backward into the cushions.
"How dare you insult my mom! You evil witch, I'll kill you!"
Victoria let out a shrill scream.
Terrified that the situation would spiral completely out of control, the maids finally rushed forward to intervene.
Cyril stood calmly in his spot for a moment before taking his sweet time strolling over to Vivienne's battlefield.
"You'd better kill me today!" Harrison shrieked, thrashing on the floor. "Because if you don't, I swear to God I'll make you regret it!"
Vivienne immediately locked her arm around his throat in a chokehold. "Gladly. Don't worry, I'll make sure you don't breathe another breath!"
Instantly, Harrison's airway was crushed. His face turned a dark, swollen purple, and his breathing turned into frantic, shallow gasps.
Through his blurring vision, he saw the predatory, blazing fury in the eyes hidden behind her messy hair.
Suddenly, pure terror seized him.
"Help... help! I was wrong! I'm sorry! I'll never do it again! Please!"
"Holy shit! Are they trying to tear the house down?"
The chaos in the parlor had finally alerted the rest of the estate. Alaric and Julian were the first to rush in, closely followed by the rest of the Montclair family.
The scene before them was absolute pandemonium.
One Montclair was pinned to the floor getting choked out, while another was getting her hair ripped out on the sofa.
It took Mr. Finch a full ten seconds to process the carnage. He furiously turned to the bodyguards behind him. "Get in there and help!"
With no room to argue, Victoria shot a venomous glare at the three of them and stormed out of the parlor.
"Ow! Oh my god, she tried to murder me!"
As Harrison was hoisted back into his wheelchair, he desperately grabbed Mr. Finch's sleeve. "Where's my dad? Where is he?"
Alaric glanced at Cyril before his gaze settled on Vivienne standing beside him. "Tidy yourself up. We're going to see Grandpa."
Vivienne aggressively ran her fingers through her hair, making it look even worse.
Alaric was speechless.
Julian was practically dying of laughter. He leaned down to tease her. "Oh my, giving up on your appearance entirely?"
From behind her chaotic mess of hair, Vivienne shot him a withering glare.
Meanwhile, over in the Main Hall...
Everyone was having a very civilized conversation.
