Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 251

Before they even reached the main hall, a melodious piano tune drifted out.

Bianca Whitmore was waiting by the door. As soon as she saw Vivienne, she waved her over urgently. "What took you so long? Any later, and Lara will have finished her third performance."

Vivienne paused. "Lara?"

Lara was Evelyn Ravenshire's daughter, and Evelyn treasured her more than her own life.

Bianca rolled her eyes. "Who else but Miss Show-off? First she danced, then she did calligraphy, and look! Now she's doing an impromptu piano solo. I literally can't deal."

Vivienne patted her hand, and the two linked arms as they walked into the main hall together.

Inside, the old man sat at the head of the room. On his left were Dorian and his wife, Leander, and Evelyn. On his right were Lucian, Benedict, Aurelia, and Talia. Alaric, Cyril, and Julian sat directly opposite.

Lara sat elegantly at the grand piano, her fingers dancing fluidly across the keys. She dipped her head with a smile, swaying gracefully with the music, looking completely in her element.

Victoria Montclair had been whispering to Evelyn, but her gaze grew glacial as she spotted the two girls at the entrance. Evelyn followed her line of sight and gently patted Victoria's hand reassuringly.

Striking the final chord flawlessly, Lara rose with a flutter of her dress and curtsied to the room.

"Excellent, excellent! Is our family producing a maestro?" the old man cheered with a laugh. Everyone else clapped along, showering her with praise.

Lara looked up with a radiant smile, her stunning features glowing with life. "Grandpa, don't tease me."

"Silly girl, can't you tell your grandfather is joking?" Evelyn looked at Caspian with blatant pride. "Her instructors say she's incredibly gifted in music; she picks things up instantly. I was planning to send her to Solenforth's Eastman School of Music, but she's dead set on becoming a star. I couldn't say no, so I had to let her transfer to JG Film Academy to study acting."

Caspian nodded. "Young girls change their minds often. Let her pursue what she loves, don't restrict her. Just make sure you keep an eye on her so she doesn't get bullied without you knowing."

Lara looked triumphant. "Grandpa is the best."
