Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 266

Starting from midday, guests began arriving at the Ravenshire estate in a steady stream. Luxury cars that hadn't even debuted in magazines or auto shows were now fully assembled in the estate's parking lot.

To maintain order, the number of suited bodyguards stationed outside the Obsidian Estate easily outnumbered the guests. Cedric stood outside early, personally greeting the VIPs.

The moment Edmund Blackthorne stepped out of his car, Cedric walked forward with a welcoming smile.

"Mr. Blackthorne."

Edmund was wearing a plaid suit today, accented by a blue crane-patterned silk cravat. Holding an antique smoking pipe, he practically oozed old-money aristocracy.

"Grandpa."

Right behind him, an elegant lady and two teenagers stepped out of the trailing car. The lady wore a high-end evening gown paired with a purple fur wrap, radiating immense grace and wealth.

The girl was dressed in a stunning aqua-blue gown, looking delicate and adorable. The boy next to her, however, stuck out like a sore thumb. He was tall, incredibly overweight, and stretched his sharp suit to the point of looking like a literal sphere.

The entrance to the Obsidian Estate was packed, and they had to open three additional side gates just to let people in. Edmund glanced around. "Oh, did I actually arrive early? Where's the head of the house?"

"Mr. Ravenshire is at Northwing Court and will be joining shortly," Cedric replied smoothly. "We've prepared private guest villas. If you prefer not to be disturbed, you may rest there for the time being."

The invitations sent out by the Ravenshire family were divided into two tiers. The first was strictly name-bound, typically reserved only for apex tycoons in their inner circle, like the Blackthorne and Everhart families.

With so many guests mingling, there were bound to be opportunists trying to slip in and network. To preserve the exclusivity of the banquet, the Ravenshires had set aside dedicated private villas for their highest-priority guests.

Edmund mulled it over for a moment, gesturing toward the main estate. "Are Dorian and the others back?"

"The masters and misses have all returned," Cedric confirmed. "They are inside entertaining guests. If you have the energy, Mr. Blackthorne, perhaps you'd like to head to the main hall for some tea?"

Edmund nodded. "Let's go."

Cedric immediately stepped forward to lead the way.
