Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 275

Julian knew perfectly well he couldn't talk Madame Cavanaugh out of it. His only hope was to stage a massive, chaotic farce that would force the banquet to shut down early. As long as his grandmother didn't publicly declare war in front of the press and the elites, there was still room to salvage the situation.

Vivienne finally pieced the puzzle together, but she was still confused. "Madame Cavanaugh wants to take you away? Why don't you just go with her?"

As long as Alaric and Cyril were in the picture, the Ravenshire family would never truly acknowledge Julian. Going back to the Cavanaugh family wouldn't necessarily be a bad move for him. In her previous life, it was only after Julian fully aligned with the Cavanaughs that he finally unleashed his terrifying potential—but by then, the timing had been irreversibly stacked against him.

Julian slowly raised his eyes. "Why should I have to leave?"

Vivienne frowned. "You hate your dad, don't you? If you leave the Ravenshire family, you won't have to deal with him anymore."

Julian smirked coldly. "You hate your mom, don't you? What did you do about it?"

Vivienne froze, staring hard at him.

She hated Serena, so she schemed endlessly to have Serena thrown out of the Obsidian Estate. Julian was essentially telling her that he planned to do the exact same thing to Leander.

Vivienne thought about it seriously for a moment before pressing two fingers against the black card on the table. "So, what you're saying is, your actual goal is to stop Madame Cavanaugh from publicly severing ties with the Ravenshire family. You don't just want to blindly ruin the banquet."

If a couple of kids caused a scene, people would eventually brush it off as a childish prank. But if the matriarch of the Cavanaugh family chose a stage this monumental to humiliate the Ravenshires, the last fragile thread holding the two empires together would permanently snap.

Most importantly, Julian didn't want Caspian to suspect the Cavanaugh family's involvement.

Julian nodded. "Grandpa spoils you. If you're the one who causes the mess, he'll let it slide."

Vivienne tapped her fingers against the table. "One last question, Julian. Why are you so obsessed with staying?"

Not long after Julian had dragged Vivienne out of the hall, the formal banquet began.

Neither of them was the center of attention tonight, so their absence didn't even put a dent in the schedule.

Standing as the absolute authority of the family, Caspian was escorted to the stage by Alaric. After delivering a few polished, commanding remarks, he officially presented Alaric to the world.

As the star of the night, Alaric handled the spotlight flawlessly. His words were elegant, carrying neither arrogance nor false humility. In just a few sentences, he entirely won over the high-society crowd. Thunderous applause echoed through the hall.

With the speeches concluded, the dinner officially commenced.

Caspian personally guided Alaric through the elite tables, making sure the necessary toasts and introductions were handled before finally leaving Alaric to manage the flood of fawning guests on his own.

Returning to the head table, Cedric quickly brought over a cup of herbal tea. Caspian took a sip and scanned the room. "Where are Vivienne and Julian? Are they still not back?"

Cedric shook his head. "Steward Corbin followed them out, but Julian chased him away."

At that moment, the patriarch of the Everhart family walked over with a glass of wine. Caspian instantly stood up with a warm smile to return the toast.

Elsewhere in the hall, Dorian guided Cyril through the glittering crowd. Everyone was deeply curious about this sudden, breathtaking addition to the Ravenshire bloodline, casting constant, measuring glances his way.
