Talia didn't answer directly. She reached out and gently stroked Bianca's cheek. "Your uncle has already contacted all the victims. The settlement agreements have been drafted, and the compensation amounts are locked in. Their parents have all agreed to sign off on it."
Bianca frowned deeply. "Isn't there even one parent who..."
"No one will refuse," Talia cut her off, her tone flat and utterly pragmatic. "Bianca, in Athelvia, there are no laws that put billionaires in jail. Because of that, no one will refuse the money."
The scandal involved the Ravenshire and Arlington families. Who would dare say no?
The sheer brutality of that truth hit Bianca like a physical blow. Her eyes burned red with unshed tears of rage.
Talia patted her head. "Go get some rest." Turning away, she walked toward the entrance.
Bianca’s hands balled into tight fists, her entire body shaking uncontrollably. Just as Talia stepped over the threshold, Bianca snapped her head up and stared at her mother's back. "I will!"
Talia stopped in her tracks and turned around.
Fists clenched, Bianca met her mother's gaze with a fierce, blinding determination. "Mom, I will! If Athelvia's laws are broken, then I'll change the system! If oligarchs control the government, this country will never be strong. A ruler must value righteousness over mere profit! If the justice system is a sham, how can there be any real justice at all?"
Her voice rose, vibrating with raw, untamed passion. "Look at the twenty-five new national reform policies! Which one of them actually helps the people? Policies driven by corporate greed only serve to line the pockets of corrupt politicians. The wealth gap is exploding, and class warfare is reaching a boiling point. The elite control the government, they control foreign policy, and they even manipulate peace treaties just to hoard more wealth! If this keeps up, the citizens will lose all faith in the establishment. When the people lose hope, the nation will burn. If we don't change, we'll end up facing a bloody massacre just like Solenforth!"
Every single word struck like a hammer on an anvil—powerful, unyielding, and terrifyingly clear.
Talia stood perfectly still, absolutely staggered. For the first time in her life, she realized just how incredibly brilliant her daughter truly was.
"You said you will... You will do what?" Talia asked softly.
"I will send the billionaires—no, I will send every corrupt parasite controlling this government straight to prison!"
The dark-haired girl’s eyes blazed with an unquenchable fire. "Mom, I want a world where the law is a weapon parents can actually use to protect their children. Mom, I'm going to be the President."
