Vivienne added her final summary: *The Bastard's Guide to Survival* relied entirely on endurance. She attached a colorful drawing of Cyril, crying his eyes out.
According to her original plan, she was going to draw Cyril getting exiled. But suddenly, her sketchbook vanished!
That day, Cyril was in charge of picking her up. When they returned to school, she was sure she had left her sketchbook behind. Later, when she went back to get it, the line art was gone. At first, she didn't care, thinking she'd just left it in the art studio. It wasn't until she searched her room and couldn't find it that a cold sweat broke out over her. Without a second thought, she sprinted toward Blackbriar Wing.
Coincidentally, when she burst into Cyril's bedroom, he had just stepped out of the shower, wearing nothing but a damp, loosely tied bathrobe. Lennox had tried to stop her the entire way but failed, leaving him no choice but to follow her inside.
Vivienne interrogated Cyril, demanding to know if he had stolen her sketchbook. Cyril denied it. The argument escalated until Vivienne essentially tossed his room, meticulously tearing apart even his bed, but she still couldn't find *The Bastard's Guide to Survival*.
Eventually, it became an unsolved mystery. The only lasting impact was that Vivienne never dared to use a sketchbook for her mind maps again.
So, for Cyril to bring it up now was a blatant provocation. Vivienne's temper flared instantly. She grabbed him by the tie. "Thief! It was you!"
Cyril remained perfectly unruffled. "I found it."
"Bullshit! I'm warning you, I poured my heart and soul into that. Give it back!"
Cyril arched an eyebrow. "Your heart and soul? Your heart and soul went into secretly drawing me?"
"Who secretly drew you?" This social butterfly really knew how to flatter himself. Vivienne was about to snap back when a thought struck her, and her attitude took a complete one-eighty. "Fine. Since you like it so much, you can keep it. But don't get the wrong idea! I just love seeing you get bullied. The more pathetic you look, the happier I am."
Let it be. She couldn't let Cyril know she was analyzing him.
"You're analyzing me?"
