Vivienne was holding a bottle of mouthwash, crouching by the flowerbed as she rinsed her mouth and casually scrolled through the comments on her post.
[No way! I refuse to believe it. If even Julian Ravenshire is bent, what hope is there for true love?]
[No, no, no! Love has no gender boundaries, keep believing!]
[They both look so dominant. I'm dying to know who the sub is!]
Because the post was entirely anonymous, the student body felt perfectly safe running their mouths and discussing every wild theory imaginable.
Vivienne scoffed, took another huge swig of mouthwash, and puffed out her cheeks in frustration.
"Hey! Vivienne Lexton, what are you doing sneaking around over here?"
Just as Vivienne was feeling deeply pleased with herself, someone slapped her hard on the back.
She whipped around and—Pfft!—sprayed the newcomer right in the face.
"Ahhh!" Mina Blackthorne shrieked in absolute disgust, jumping back and raising her hands as if to strangle Vivienne. "You did that on purpose, didn't you?!"
Vivienne blocked the attack with one hand while smoothly pulling a silk handkerchief from her pocket with the other. "Here, wipe your face."
She had originally brought it for herself, but since she had perfectly timed her vomiting earlier and managed to avoid getting any on her own clothes, she no longer needed it.
Mina furiously snatched the handkerchief. "Nothing good ever happens when you're around."
Vivienne calmly screwed the cap back onto her mouthwash, tossed it into her bag, and waved. "Alright then, bye."
"Hey!" Mina grabbed her arm. "Who said you could leave? I have questions for you."
