Mina paused what she was doing and looked up at Sophia.
Sophia immediately rephrased the question. "Yesterday, Julian beat Kael up. Where exactly did you guys go? Why was Julian so furious?"
Mina didn't want to bring up the crazy woman just yet, so she quickly came up with an excuse. "Nowhere, really. We just went out for a drive."
A flicker of disappointment crossed Sophia's eyes, but she simply nodded. "That's good. I was just worried about you."
Feeling slightly guilty, Mina turned away and didn't reply.
On the other side of the room, Vivienne was still thinking about Isolde.
Why had she deliberately bumped into Mina?
Did she figure something out?
Propping her chin on her hand, Vivienne stared out the window at the Talent & Virtue Building across the way. Her mind was still entirely on Isolde when she suddenly noticed a massive film crew lugging heavy cameras up and down the opposite hallway.
Her curiosity instantly piqued. She tapped Bianca's shoulder and pointed. "What's going on over there? Why are there so many people?"
Bianca leaned over to look. "You're right. That's a massive crowd."
The boy sitting in front of them seized the opportunity, instantly spinning around to eagerly explain, "I heard a huge high-budget teen drama is using our campus for some location shots. They're filming right now."
"Location shots?" Bianca asked. "Who is it? I can't believe the school actually agreed to this."
The boy looked at Vivienne. "You guys really don't know?"
Vivienne stared right back. "Are we supposed to?"
The tips of the boy's ears flushed bright red. He quickly turned around, grabbed a poster from his desk, and laid it out in front of Vivienne. "It's the new generation's undisputed beauty, the Nation’s Sweetheart, Lara Arlington!"
