Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 431

The crystal-clear green beads scattered across the floor. Cedric bent down, picking them up one by one and placing them on the tray in his hand. After a quick sweep to ensure nothing was missed, he slowly walked into the Conservatory, lowering his head. "Talia, there are a hundred and three beads in total. The rest probably fell into the pond."

Talia rubbed her aching knees and waved her hand dismissively. "Let them be."

The beating was already over, anyway.

Cedric nodded and straightened up, his gaze sweeping across the Conservatory.

From the eldest branch to the youngest, the ten family members stood rigidly in a disciplinary lineup. The severity of the recent beatings was reflected in their flawlessly straight postures.

Bianca lowered her head, glancing left and right before quietly leaning toward Vivienne. She pressed her lips together. "We're doomed. This is the first time I've seen the entire family forced into a punishment lineup. Caspian must be furious."

Vivienne nodded, shooting a sideways glance at Alaric.

How could he not be mad?

At least she had kicked Julian. Alaric hadn't done anything, yet he still wasn't spared from the punishment.

"What's going on here?"

The news of Benedict deploying the Shadow Chamber to surround the academy had already spread through elite circles. Lucian rushed back the moment he heard, but he never expected to see the entire family lined up as soon as he stepped into Northwing Court. Alarm bells rang in his head as he cautiously peered toward the Parlor.

"Sir." Cedric stopped him, pointing to the empty spot next to Benedict. "Caspian ordered everyone to stand in silence for three hours before anyone speaks."

"Wait, Cedric, I didn't do anything," Lucian quickly defended himself.

Cedric replied, "Caspian said inaction is also a fault."

Left with no choice, Lucian cleared his throat and took his place in line next to Benedict.

He had originally wanted to ask Benedict why he was acting so recklessly, but seeing his back bruised and bleeding from the lashes, he immediately shut his mouth.

The atmosphere was suffocatingly heavy. Evelyn glared at Benedict from time to time, looking as if she would never let the matter go.
