Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 44

Bianca retorted, “That’s different. You were never one of us Ravenshires to begin with. You should go back to wherever you came from! You shameless little beggar! Your mother is shameless, and so are you!”

That insufferable, nasty temper. It was clear she’d earned every bit of trouble she got into.

Vivienne sighed like a world-weary old woman and found a corner to sit down. “Well… we can talk after you’re done insulting me.”

Bianca had been ready for another fight, but Vivienne’s calm reaction threw her off. Seeing how serious Vivienne seemed, Bianca couldn’t help but become suspicious. “What is there for us to talk about?”

Vivienne patted the empty space beside her. “I have a secret, and I plan to share it with you.”

Bianca scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Don’t try to get close to me. I’m not interested. Get lost!” She turned to leave.

Vivienne spoke, unhurried. “Bianca, what if I told you I suddenly gained the ability to see the future?”

Bianca stopped and looked her over. “Did I knock you stupid with that punch?” Her expression immediately changed, her guard going up. “What? Are you trying to blackmail me? You despicable, scheming little snake!”

Vivienne raised an eyebrow. “A classic victim of the ‘stupid’ label.”

Bianca didn’t understand what Vivienne was talking about, but she was not happy about being called stupid. “Fine. Since you have such an amazing ability, why don’t you tell me a few things that will happen in the future? Like, will you be thrown out by Grandpa eventually?”

Vivienne didn’t answer.

Vivienne continued, “When your mom took you and left the Whitmore family, did she smash a vase over your dad’s head? That vase was a priceless Victorian antique, a gift from the Montclair family to your grandfather.”

“You… How did you know that?” Bianca was stunned. She had witnessed her parents’ fight firsthand, which was why she was being so rebellious toward Talia. In her eyes, her mother was in the wrong this time; no matter what, she shouldn't have gotten violent.

As for that vase…

Bianca’s gaze turned wary. No one in the Ravenshire family could possibly know about that. Even her own mother didn’t know how valuable it was. How did this little beggar find out?

Vivienne looked up, as if she could see right through her, and pointed to her own head. “Like I said, I can see the future.”
