Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 469

The chaotic drama dispersed as everyone scrambled back to their respective classrooms.

Wesley immediately hurried back to Alaric's side, leaving Theron standing out like a sore thumb.

Vivienne, Bianca, and Aurelia all locked eyes on him. Theron shifted awkwardly. Avoiding the gaze he dreaded most, he spoke with stiff artificiality, "The bell rang. Why are you all still standing here?"

"Who are you?" Bianca demanded. "And why did you help us?"

"Theron!" Mina arrived panting, wrapping herself proudly around his arm. "He's my brother. Bianca, watch your mouth. My brother just stood up for you, and this is how you treat him?"

"Your brother?" Bianca blinked in shock. "I thought your brother was the shape of a bowling ball. When did he shrink?"

Theron sighed, utterly exasperated.

Mina bristled with outrage. Only she was allowed to mock her brother. She was just about to lash out when Aurelia gently pulled Bianca back, offering Theron an apologetic look.

"Thank you for stepping in earlier. Bianca speaks without thinking, but she doesn't mean any harm. Please don't take offense."

"Whatever," Mina scoffed, crossing her arms. "I'm going to curse out..."

Before she could finish, Theron's eyes practically sparkled. "It's fine. I don't mind anything they say."

Mina's cheeks puffed out in absolute indignation.

Aurelia was slightly taken aback but brushed it off. "We should get to class. We'll properly thank you the next time we meet."

Bianca hooked her arm through Vivienne's. As the three girls reached the second-floor landing, Theron was still rooted in the exact same spot.

Vivienne studied Theron's face thoughtfully, turning his features over in her mind.

Bianca, noticing Vivienne's intense scrutiny, leaned in and whispered, "He didn't even get mad when I insulted him. He actually seems like a decent guy."

She finished her sentence with a meaningful glance toward Aurelia.

Vivienne smirked. She hadn't realized her formerly slow-witted friend had become so incredibly perceptive, catching onto the underlying dynamics in an instant.

Theron?

Vivienne slowly pulled her gaze away. She didn't have many memories of this guy. Her only distinct impression was from Aurelia's funeral, where he had shown up in a black suit to leave a single red rose. Later, he joined the naval air force and was blown out of the sky during an airstrike, leaving no remains.

His death had deeply wounded the Blackthorne family. Their grandfather fell seriously ill, his health never fully recovering. Later, when the massive scandal regarding Mina's true identity broke, she ended up abandoned by everyone.

But judging by how the two interacted just now, Theron clearly adored his fake sister. If he hadn't died, perhaps Mina wouldn't have met such a tragic end alone in a foreign land.

"I'm heading back."

Aurelia wasn't in the same class. Once they reached the third floor, they had to part ways.

"Lia," Vivienne called out, hesitating for just a moment.

Aurelia turned around.

Vivienne pointed toward the ceiling. "Remember. Face him head-on! No matter what happens." Without waiting for a response, she grabbed Bianca's hand and dragged her down the hall.

"No matter what happens?" Aurelia murmured to herself, looking down.
