Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 515

Leander Ravenshire was originally out schmoozing at a business dinner when he suddenly received a text from Dorian, saying his son had beaten the other two and secured the ticket to Solenforth. Overjoyed and moved to tears, Leander immediately popped a bottle of exorbitantly priced champagne to celebrate on the spot.

His rebellious brat of a son had finally made him proud for once!

Abandoning his business dealings, Leander ordered his driver to take him straight back to Obsidian Estate.

He had expected the brat to be lounging around like a king, waiting for him to come shower him with praise. Instead, Silvercrest Hall was eerily quiet, with the maids huddled in the courtyard whispering among themselves.

Upon asking, he learned that Julian had locked himself in his room the moment he returned and hadn't stepped out all afternoon.

Didn't he win? Why was he acting like this?

The more Leander thought about it, the more unsettled he felt. Worried something had happened to his son, he hurried over to the main estate to ask Caspian for the details.

Caspian didn't say a word. He simply tossed Julian's report card onto the table. “Take a look. Your son is much better than his old man.”

The report meticulously detailed Julian's physical and heart-rate metrics during the training. The numbers were stellar. As a man himself, Leander knew exactly how difficult it was to maintain that level of self-control.

But still, what kind of messed-up test was this? Leander's expression was complicated. “Dad, please take it easy on them. They're still young. What if you break them and the Ravenshire family loses its heirs?”

Caspian was furious. “If they all turned out like you, I'd rather the Ravenshire line ended right now. Thank God Julian doesn't take after you in the slightest.”

Leander, “...”

Did he really have to insult him that harshly?

Caspian didn't want to look at him for another second and waved him off dismissively. “Your son is fine. It's just that he wanted to score a 100%, but barely scraped by with a 95. It's the same flaw all ambitious young men share. He'll understand once he has more life experience.”

In the old man's eyes, the data was incredibly impressive—far superior to the two weaklings next door. Even though Julian had eventually broken, giving in under those extreme conditions was only human nature.
