Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 533

"What's the matter with you? So clumsy," Grandpa Caspian chided without a hint of sympathy, smiling toward the door. "Oh, Vivi is here."

Julian didn't even care about his burn. He shot up from his seat. "Grandpa, I'm heading back now."

"What's the rush? I'm not finished talking to you. Besides, Vivi is here. Let's ask her what she wants as a gift."

"Grandpa~"

Vivienne's cheerful voice rang out before she even crossed the threshold.

Julian's eyelid twitched. Without another word, he marched toward the doorway, but just as he stepped over the threshold, he saw a figure skipping past the flower beds.

If he walked out now, they would run right into each other.

With no time to think, Julian spun around, marched into the tea room, forcefully pushed open the wooden window, and vaulted himself outside.

The entire sequence was incredibly fluid, without a single moment of hesitation.

Caspian: "..."

"Grandpa~"

Just as Vivienne stepped into the Main Hall, the wooden window of the tea room slammed shut with a loud thud.

"Huh? Didn't Cedric say Julian was here? Where did he go?"

Caspian calmly adjusted his teacup and wiped down the tea tray with a cloth. "He left."

"Left?" Vivienne glanced back over her shoulder. "Which way did he go?"

Caspian glanced briefly at the window ledge before picking up his tea. "He left a while ago." He waved Vivienne over. "Come, have a seat."

Vivienne obediently sat down. Caspian poured her a cup of warm water. She held the cup, looking at him with an eager, pleading expression. "Grandpa, I came today because I have a huge favor to ask you."

"Sounds serious." Caspian set down the teapot, feigning a strict tone. "Then I better listen closely. I can't let my little Vivi down."
