Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 547

On a winding mountain road on the outskirts of the capital.

A crew of street-racing rich kids were hanging half their bodies out of their luxury car windows, clutching sparklers and screaming in exhilaration as they drifted toward the summit.

Kael Kenyon hung up his phone and jumped off the hood of his car. "Who set him off this time?"

His sycophants instantly swarmed around him. "Kael, what did Preston say?"

Kael's face darkened. "He didn't say a damn thing! Forget him, we're doing a lap first."

The young men and women cheered in response.

Kael was just about to get back into his car when the girl who had been harassing Isolde cautiously approached him.

"Kael, that Isolde girl is as stubborn as a brick wall. We had a chance to pressure her into cooperating, but Mina Blackthorne suddenly shoved her way in, and Isolde ended up slipping away."

"Mina." Kael rubbed his eyebrow. "What the hell does she have to do with this?"

The girl shook her head. "No one knew they even crossed paths, but Mina said she needed her for something."

Kael scoffed. "She's got way too much time on her hands."

The girl looked troubled. "Kael, how do you want to handle this?"

Kael leaned a hand against the roof of his car. Unbidden, the image of a terrified, helpless girl sprang to the forefront of his mind.

Preston had been acting like a complete psycho lately, suddenly demanding to swap cars. So, Kael had been joyriding around the canyon in the sleek black supercar he had been coveting for months.

Two days ago, right as he peeled out of the school gates, a girl had stepped out of nowhere, forcing him to slam on the brakes. She hadn't been hurt, but she had been severely spooked.

Furious, Kael had thrown his door open and grabbed the girl by the collar. But before he could even start shouting, she had shrunk away, looking up at him with wide, terrified eyes.

That single look had practically ripped Kael's chest open. He hadn't expected to almost run over an absolute angel. Her face was so stunningly beautiful it hit him like a physical blow.

By the time the girl recovered from the shock and shoved him away, Kael had been too dazed to react, and she was gone in a flash. But luckily, she had dropped a name tag in the chaos.

Isolde.

Every time Kael thought back to that moment, his blood ran a little hotter.

"What do you mean, 'how do we handle this'? Doesn't she need money? Just throw cash at her! I refuse to believe there's a person alive who doesn't like money."

If it had been any other target, Kael would have gladly backed off and done Mina a favor. They were all just playing around; it wasn't like he was fixated on anyone in particular.

But this was entirely different. From the second he laid eyes on Isolde, he had wanted to take her to bed. He had never felt such an intense, laser-focused hunger before, so he couldn't care less if Mina or the Queen of England herself tried to get in the way.

The girl instantly picked up on Kael's meaning and nodded. "Understood, Kael."
