Bianca grew angrier the more she watched, cursing Vivienne under her breath. Spineless! Two-faced! Something felt off, and she would have preferred it if Vivienne had come over and started a fight with her rather than being completely ignored.

The moonlight spilled into the creek, and the bonding campout finally came to a close.
Caspian led Vivienne back to Northwing Court, Cedric escorted Bianca, and Cyril returned alone to Blackbriar Wing.
As soon as he walked in, Victor greeted him with a smile. "Mr. Cyril, the kitchen has prepared a light fish porridge for you."
Cyril stopped, his eyelids lifting slightly as he gave Victor an extra glance.
Sensing his hesitation, Victor quickly explained, "Cedric called before you returned. He said you might not have eaten enough at dinner and told us to prepare something easily digestible for you."
Cyril's expression softened. "Thank you, then. I'll go take a shower. You can bring the soup in a little later."
Victor agreed, and Cyril went straight to his room. Just as he entered, the phone in his pocket began to vibrate. Cyril's face was impassive, as if he hadn't heard it, and he turned and walked into the bathroom.
"Mr. Cyril?"
A short while later, Victor appeared outside the bedroom door with the soup. He was about to knock when he noticed the door was unlocked. He pushed it open and called out again, "Mr. Cyril?"
Still no answer.
Just then, the sound of running water came from the bathroom. Victor hesitated for a moment before entering the room, placing the soup on the coffee table in the sitting area, and then leaving.
Soon after, Cyril walked out of the bathroom with a black towel wrapped around his waist. His skin was very fair. He had a youthful build, not burly, with the faint outline of V-line abs, but his physique was lean and well-defined.
*Bzzz—Bzzz—*
The phone vibrated again.
Cyril glanced down, pulled the phone from his pocket, and saw an unfamiliar number with no name attached. He looked at it, a sharp glint in his eyes, and slid his finger across the screen to answer.
"Dad."
"Well done." Dorian's tone softened considerably. "Remember to eat that soup before you go to sleep." With that, he hung up.
Cyril fell silent. He turned his head, his gaze lingering on the white soup on the table for a few seconds before he finally picked up the bowl and swallowed it down in large gulps.
In moments, the bowl was empty, not a drop left. Cyril stared at the empty bowl in his hand, his expression shifting from numb to sinister.
Did Dorian even know? Eating such a large amount in one night could send him into anaphylactic shock and kill him.
"Heh..." Cyril let out another soft laugh, silently cursing himself for being a fool.
Of course Dorian knew. The first time he had accidentally eaten seafood as a child and was rushed to the hospital, his so-called father had personally come to see him.
He had been in a coma for three days then, only a step away from death.
Cyril closed his eyes. He remembered. When the allergic reaction hit, it felt like his insides were being twisted into knots. Even when he passed out, the pain would jolt him awake.
