Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 629

Monday morning. The sky over Stormhollow turned overcast as the chill of winter set in.

Inside the warm luxury car, Isolde looked down at the golden button on her uniform cuff. The uniforms for Elite and Virtuous students at High school were different—Elite buttons were gold, and Virtuous were silver. Just a single button difference, yet the treatment was worlds apart.

Through the gray-tinted window, she saw the luxury car in front of them suddenly turn at a junction, heading in the complete opposite direction of the school.

Isolde had noticed it when they left the house. Mina was sitting in that car.

Isolde turned to look at Theron. His gaze had been glued to the car ahead, a faint look of worry in his eyes. The moment he noticed Isolde looking at him, he immediately withdrew his gaze.

"What's wrong?"

Isolde hesitated for a moment before asking anyway. "The direction Mina went... it doesn't look like she's going to school."

Theron froze briefly, then offered a gentle smile. "She's not going to school today. I'm going with you."

Isolde nodded and turned to look back at the fading silhouette of the car.

She was going to see Rowena after all.

The car sped onto the private road leading to the school. The other vehicles quickly recognized the Blackthorne family crest and moved aside. When Isolde stepped out of the car, she caused quite a commotion.

"A new student? Transferring at this time of year? She must be a big deal."

"Didn't you see who was standing next to her? She's really pretty, but I wonder what her connection is to the Blackthornes?"

Isolde had deliberately hidden her face at school before, and with her low presence, the spectating students failed to connect her with the famously ugly but academically excellent girl from the Virtuous building.

Theron took her backpack from her hands, his attitude warm and affectionate. "Let's go."

Isolde nodded, walking quietly by his side.

The educational philosophies of the Elite and Virtuous programs were completely different. The Virtuous program was designed to churn out highly capable corporate drones, whereas the Elite program existed to groom exceptional decision-makers. As a result, the curriculum varied significantly.

Isolde flipped through the materials for a moment before remembering that Theron was still standing there. Feeling slightly embarrassed, she said, "Theron, thank you for the trouble today."

Even though they were biological siblings, there was still a sixteen-year gap between them. The two were still somewhat strangers to each other.

Theron noticed her awkwardness and reached out to pat her on the head. "It's no trouble at all. It's been a while since I've been back to the school, so I'm going to visit some of my old teachers. Call me when you get out of class, and we'll head home together."

Isolde felt a surge of warmth in her heart. Although it felt a bit unfamiliar, she tried her best to suppress the urge to pull away.

Her life was back on track now, and she shouldn't be second-guessing the kindness of others.

As Theron walked out of the Elite Talent Building, someone on the locked-down top floor was watching his retreating figure through a pair of binoculars.

"So that girl is actually the real Blackthorne heiress? Tsk, tsk, what a buzzkill." Kael lost interest immediately. He had finally found a girl he liked, and now he couldn't even play with her.
